The NFL season is long gone, which has fans looking forward to the Madden 24 release date. The new game is still a long way off, so understandably EA is yet to disclose an official release date for the game. However, by following the release trend of previous editions, we can predict when Madden 24 is coming out.
EA has a regular pattern of when they release their sports titles, so we do have a good idea of when to expect Madden 24. With that in mind, we can also look ahead to a potential early access period for the game too!
Latest - New Superstar mode features
The Madden 24 Superstar deep dive revealed plenty of new and exciting features. These features will make Superstar mode the most realistic it has ever been. Furthermore, it will deeply immerse players in the game.
Among the many features announced, the revamped NFL combine might be the most important one. Now, the players' performances in every combined drill will heavily impact their draft stock.
The mode is also introducing the Superstar Missions and social media feed features. Both features make the game mode much more entertaining. They also make users feel like they are an actual NFL player climbing their way to the top.
First AKA cards revealed
The first two AKA cards to arrive at Madden 24 Ultimate team have been announced. 85 OVR Justin Jefferson and Ahmad Gardner are the first players confirmed to be in the program.

Fortunately for Madden 24 fans, there is an easy way to do that. Players that buy the Deluxe Edition until June 22, will receive these two cards. This makes the Deluxe Edition even more attractive, especially for competitive players.

Madden 24 EA Play trial
In previous years EA has offered a free 10-hour trial to players who have subscribed to the EA Play subscription service.
This usually was released in advance of early access, but for their 23 sports titles including Madden 23 and FIFA 23, EA released the trial during the early access period.
Regardless, the EA Play Trial will still offer players the chance to test out the new game before buying it.
Following the same pattern, the EA Play Trial for Madden 24 should be available on Tuesday, 15 August 2023.
Cover star confirmed
EA has finally given fans their first look at Madden 24 and confirmed several key details for the game. This year's title will once again deliver all the thrills and spills of the NFL season.
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills QB, will be the Madden 24 cover star for the year's game, beating out Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow to be the face of Madden 24. It's a polarising choice given the popularity of Hurts, but Allen is among the biggest faces in the NFL so it's not a surprise.
Along with that news, pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses have been confirmed, with all the extras naturally focused around Allen and Ultimate Team.
