The Madden 22 Playoffs promo is set to return to Ultimate Team, and we've already learned about one of the exciting players being included.
Here we're counting down to the reveal of all players and release of the Madden 22 Playoffs program in Ultimate Team.
Madden 22 Playoffs: Countdown to Reveal & Release Time
With Zero Chill officially wrapped up and the Team of the Year program waiting for the completion of voting, it's time for the Madden 22 Playoffs promo to fill that gap.
We've finally gotten confirmation that the promo is returning to Madden 22 Ultimate Team, and gamers won't have to wait long.
After revealing the first player on Good Morning Madden, the full Madden 22 Playoffs reveal will be at 6:30pm ET on Thursday, January 13, 2022, and it'll take place on the EA Madden NFL Twitch channel.
The timing lines up with the MCS Ultimate Wild Card matches which air on the same channel at 7pm ET on both January 13 and January 14.
Madden 22 Playoffs Reveal
While that reveal takes place on Thursday, the promo itself is expected to hit Madden 22 Ultimate Team on Friday, January 14, 2022.
This lines right up with a handful of other content drops, as a Nickelodeon crossover in The Yard and new Campus Legends in Superstar KO are also hitting the same day.
We don't yet have a confirmed launch time for everything that lands on Friday, but they usually aim to send things live early in the morning so it could all hit as soon as 9am ET on Friday, January 14.
Madden 22 Playoffs: All Players Revealed (so far)
While we will have to wait for the reveal stream to arrive to get the full lineups, we already know one player and have a good idea of what's coming next.
The first card revealed was Jared Cook, and he'll be the Offensive Hero for the Green Bay Packers.
The reveal likely confirms a few aspects of the promo, the first being that we'll once again see every team that qualified for the postseason get an Offensive Hero and Defensive Hero, likely all at this 94 OVR rating.
It also lets us know that while they'll be featuring this season's postseason competitors, it won't necessarily be confined to players currently on those teams.
Jared Cook is actually now with the Chargers, who have already been eliminated from this year's postseason, but the Packers were his home in 2016 when they made it to the NFC Championship Game.
We'll have to wait and see who makes the Madden 22 Playoffs lineup, but including players of the past gives even more potential for exciting cards to enter the fray.
