Latest - Captaincy picks for GW24

There are plenty of top captaincy options for Gameweek 24, with assets from Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs all in consideration.

Kevin De Bruyne is a top captaincy pick for GW24, having scored 19 points over the course of his last two appearances.

Other Man City captaincy options included Joao Cancelo and Phil Foden, who have both been in excellent form this season.

POINTS GALORE - Cancelo is the second highest point scoring defender this season

Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes face bottom of the table Burnley, making them both viable options if you can overlook the Red Devil's poor run of form.

From Liverpool, Diogo Jota and Trent Alexander-Arnold are the standout players as the Reds come up against a Leicester side that conceded four goals to Nottingham Forrest in the FA Cup.

Finally, as always, you might consider Spurs duo Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son as they look to punish Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The youngster has started each of Aston Villa's last seven Premier League matches and produced double-figure hauls in GW17 and GW22. If you are after a more expensive Villa asset then Philippe Coutinho (£7.0m) is your man.

Forwards

These two strikers could score BIG in GW24.

Despite blanking in his last four outings, Cristiano Ronaldo is a great captaincy option for GW24, especially if Man United get a double gameweek confirmed this week.

The Red Devils face Burnley next - a team that CR7 picked up 12 points against in the home fixture at Old Trafford in GW20.

French striker Odsonne Edouard has tallied up 30 points over the course of the last four gameweeks, picking up three goals, two assists and three bonus points in that time.

Crystal Palace face Norwich and Brentford in their next two matches, making Edouard a great budget option at just £6.5m. You could also opt for Jean-Philippe Mateta (£5.2m) if you are after a cheaper option.
