The international break is finally over which means the FPL GW29 deadline is approaching and managers must now get their squads in order.

FPL GW29 marks yet another double gameweek and this time 12 teams will play twice, meaning you'll want as many DGW players as possible.

Double Gameweek 29 also looks set to be the week in which most FPL managers will be using their Bench Boost chip.

Using the Bench Boost chip in DGW29 allows managers to potentially get 30 fixtures out of one single gameweek.

Be aware, the Gameweek 29 deadline is on Saturday, 1 April at 11am BST / 6am ET.

Forwards

Plenty of FPL managers are moving away from the PL's top scorer Erling Haaland (£12.0m) this week as Man City have one fixture against Liverpool.

Chelsea duo Joao Felix (£7.6m) and Kai Havertz (£7.6m) are both good options with the Blues playing two home matches in DGW29 against Aston Villa and Liverpool.

If you're looking for a striker on a budget, Brennan Johnson (£5.7m) offers great value and will face Wolves (H) and Leeds (A) in GW29.

Alexander Isak (£6.7m) is bang in form after he netted three goals in his last two matches and could be worth a punt as Newcastle face Manchester United (H) and 18th-place West Ham (A).

Ivan Toney (£7.9m) will look to continue his run of form against Brighton (A) and Manchester United (A) this week.

Midfielders

Man United's favourable fixture run fixtures against make both Bruno Fernandes (£9.6m) and Marcus Rashford (£7.3m) quality options in midfield.

The Red Devils will face Newcastle (A) and Brentford (H) in DGW29 and have subsequent matches against Everton (H) and Nottingham Forest (A).

Leicester playmaker James Maddison (£8.2m) has a huge upside in GW29, facing struggling Crystal Palace (A) and Aston Villa (H) before coming up against Bournemouth (H) in GW30.

The England international is a genuine captaincy differential this week.

You'll want to make sure you have a Brighton midfielder in your squad too, with Kaoru Mitoma (£5.5m), Alexis Mac Allister (£5.5m) and Solly March (£5.1m) all viable options.

The Seagulls will host Brentford before travelling to Bournemouth in GW29.

Defenders

England international Ben Chilwell's (£6.0m) return to the Chelsea starting XI makes him a great option for DGW29.

The left-wing-back has amassed 19 points over the course of the past three gameweeks.

The same goes for Wesley Fofana (£4.3m) who is owned by just 1.1% of FPL managers right now.

Brighton full-back Pervis Estupinan (£4.8m) is once again a top choice for GW29, having blanked just once in the last eight outings.

Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi (£4.4m) is the ultimate GW29 differential with an ownership of 0.3% in Fantasy.

The Cherries will host both Fulham and Brighton in FPL GW29, with Senesi having produced back-to-back seven-pointers in GW26 and 27.
