As the best-emerging youngsters in world football are handed big boosts in the latest squad update, we're taking a look at the potential FIFA 24 Future Stars and what their cards could look like.

The next instalment of the football sim will once again give us a glimpse into the future and bring us another batch of incredible Future Stars cards.

So, first of all, let's establish what 'Future Stars' actually are before we get into the FUT 24 player predictions.

FIFA 24 Future Stars

The Future Stars campaign recognises the brightest breakthrough talents in world football who are 23 years of age and under.

The group of players selected for a Future Stars item will have shown a lot of potential but have not yet become established global superstars.

Players released in past Future Stars campaigns will not be eligible for the FUT 24 promo squad.

Gabri Veiga (OVR 89)

20-year-old Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga has quickly emerged as one of the most sought-after talents in Europe, with the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona said to be monitoring the player. POTM trophy.

The young Spaniard only broke into the Celta Vigo first team this season and has already won a La Liga Player of the Month award, having scored four goals in four appearances in February 2023.

Veiga will surely be one of the leading FUT 24 Future Stars and could be given an 89 OVR item that possesses fantastic stats for an attacking midfielder.

Argentinian winger Alejandro Garnacho is undoubtedly one of the most exciting emerging talents in the English top flight right now.

Quick, direct and with real quality on the ball, the 18-year-old seemingly has everything he needs to succeed in the Premier League and on the international stage.

Garnacho would be a very popular Future Star in EA's next game, with an 89 OVR item that boasts 99 Pace, 91 Dribbling and 86 Shooting on the cards.

Youssoufa Moukoko (OVR 91)

We all know Youssoufa Moukoko as the perfect Career Mode player. Well, we expect the German to be about to be propelled to greatness within Ultimate Team this year too.

The 18-year-old will surely make the FIFA 24 Future Stars squad, with a 91 OVR as the likely rating for the Borussia Dortmund forward.

The youngster could be bumped up to 96 Pace, 92 Dribbling and 90 Shooting and could also be given four-star skill moves to top things off.

Moises Caicedo (OVR 90)

Despite having only made 26 Premier League starts for Brighton, Moises Caicedo is one of the best deep-lying central midfielders in the division at just 21 years of age.

The Ecuadorian number six was linked with an £80 million move to Arsenal during the January transfer window which was turned down by the Seagulls, showing fans just how highly they rate Caicedo.

We expect EA to select Caicedo for a Future Stars item next time around, potentially rated as a 90 OVR with 88 Defending, 88 Pace, 87 Dribbling and 86 Passing.

Xavi Simons (OVR 88)

Somehow Dutch wonderkid Xavi Simons has never received a Future Stars card in FIFA, despite being one of the most famous talents in Europe.

Well, we expect this to change next time. The 19-year-old's impressive run of form at PSV could earn him an 88 OVR Future Stars card in FUT 24.

There's a chance Xavi Simons' next special card could be made a right-winger, as he has been playing further forward for PSV of late.

Nico Williams (OVR 89)

20-year-old Nico Williams, brother of Ghana's Inaki Williams, was one of Spain's bright sparks at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Williams already has blistering speed at such a young age and possesses plenty of technical ability to match too.

The right-winger could be handed an 89 OVR Future Stars item that boasts 98 Pace, 90 Dribbling, 88 Shooting and 82 Passing.

Wilfried Gnonto (OVR 88)

Leeds United secured the signature of Italian teenager Wilfried Gnonto for a fee of just £3.8 million from Swiss football club FC Zurich.

Now, the 18-year-old is one of the most promising forwards around and we expect this to be recognised as such with an 88 OVR FIFA 24 Future Stars card.

The Italy youth international could be bumped up to 93 Pace, 91 Dribbling, 87 Shooting and 82 Physicality on his special item.
