It will be the penultimate special World Cup squad, coming just before the Team of the Tournament side.

World Cup Phenoms
There isn't much information out there regarding the World Cup Phenoms event in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with the press release from EA announcing:
Once the quarter finals arrive, FIFA fans will be greeted by a new class of World Cup FUT Phenoms, uplifting the performances of some of football’s brightest stars.
It looked likely the promo would focus on young players at the tournament who have excelled on the world stage, and this was all but confirmed when Fut Sheriff leaked it could be for under-24 players.
We thought it unlikely that young players who are likely to make the WC Team of the Tournament squad would be included in this release, however, the leaks that have come out seem to suggest otherwise!

Predictions
There is one name we are almost certain will make the World Cup Phenoms squad - Jamal Musiala!
He could have played for England, but unfortunately decided on Germany instead, and was Germany's standout player of the tournament.
The 19-year-old has been ripping it up in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich and brought his driving force to the world stage in Qatar.
If Germany had progressed further in the tournament a WCTOTT item would probably have come his way.
Mohammed Kudus is another player that viewers may not have seen much of, as he plays for Ajax in the Eredivisie.
The Ghanaian looked dangerous for his nation, even if they did only manage to get one win.
Pedri's star has been getting bigger and brighter, already pulling the strings at Barcelona and now doing the same for Spain.
The Barca trio of Pedri, Gavi and Sergio Busquets are working their magic in Qatar and we're backing Gavi to get a Team of the Tournament item - he could feature in this promo too!
Croatia's Josko Gvardiol has played every minute for the side, helping them keep two clean sheets along the way.
His performances have garnered even more attention from Europe's big clubs and his pace at CB makes him a FUT fan favourite.
Serbia may not have won a single game at the World Cup, but that doesn't mean there haven't been positives in the performances.
Big CB Strahinja Pavlovic caught the eye, always willing to put his body on the line and he managed to nick a goal too.
