We might be coming to the end of the FIFA 23 cycle, but a brand-new release will soon come to the title, with a Women's World Cup DLC being unleashed!
As we saw earlier in the title when the Qatar World Cup DLC was issued, a separate new game mode is coming to celebrate the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
EA has now confirmed all the details for the Women's World Cup DLC in FIFA 23 and we've got a breakdown of everything you need to know.
FIFA 23 Women's World Cup DLC
We've had the men, and now it's time for the women to take centre stage, as we approach the release of the Women's World Cup DLC in FIFA 23.
With the tournament kicking off on Thursday, 20 July, you can recreate and redecide the outcome of all the matches in the event.
New key art of Australian national player Sam Kerr has been unveiled, with the Chelsea star previously appearing on the cover of the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition.
This will be the most immersive EA Sports FIFA Women's World Cup experience ever, featuring all 32 qualified teams, custom stadium dressings, cinematics, match presentations, dedicated commentary, and the authentic trophy to lift at the end.

Women's World Cup DLC Release Date
The Women's World Cup mode will be available to play from the end of June.
It will come as a free update within FIFA 23, appearing as a new tile on the main menu, as we saw with the Qatar World Cup DLC.
Game Modes
The FIFA 23 Women's World Cup DLC will contain three main game modes, including the all-new Lead Your Country experience, where you can put yourself into the game!
The game modes are as follows:
- Lead Your Country: Put yourself at the heart of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 with a brand-new game mode that allows you to step into the boots of one specific player leading their nation to glory. Choose between a real player poised to take the tournament by storm or create your own custom Avatar in the national team of your choice to write yourself into FIFA Women’s World Cup history. As you play through the stages, you’ll have the option to control just that player or the whole national team as you lead your country all the way to the trophy.
- Tournament Mode: Play through the authentic FIFA Women’s World Cup in a single-player tournament mode that allows you to write (or rewrite) the future for your nation. Choose one of the 32 qualified nations and play your way out of their true-to-life group and through the knockouts towards FIFA Women’s World Cup glory.
- Kick Off: Experience the FIFA Women’s World Cup on your terms in a match against friends locally, or against the AI, by selecting from a Group Stage or Knockout Round match and two of the 32 qualified nations.
