FIFA 23's hotly anticipated Team of the Year (TOTY) campaign is slowly but surely taking over Ultimate Team, with the list of 100 nominees now officially revealed.
The TOTY squad will consist of eleven of the most overpowered items we will see in the game as well as a 12th Man, voted in by the fans.
As usual, EA will be releasing special SBC and Objective cards alongside the promo squad. These will include TOTY Honourable Mentions items.
So, you'll need to know what Team of the Year Honourable Mentions actually are.
What are TOTY Honourable Mentions?
With limited space available in the final XI, EA introduced the Honourable Mentions list to TOTY campaign to reward the players who have just missed out on being recognised with an incredible card.
Honourable Mentions will receive heavily boosted cards in Ultimate Team, but will not be given the ridiculously overpowered cards like an actual TOTY.
We expect a TOTY Honourable Mentions promo squad as well as SBC and Objectives items.
Last year, the following players were included in the TOTY Honourable Mentions group:
- Mohamed Salah (OVR 94)
- Karim Benzema (OVR 92)
- Bruno Fernandes (OVR 92)
- Erling Haaland (OVR 92)
- Antonio Rudiger (OVR 90)
- Leon Goretzka (OVR 90)
- Lorenzo Insigne (OVR 89)
- Phil Foden (OVR 89)
- Federico Chiesa (OVR 89)
- David Alaba (OVR 89)
- Edouard Mendy (OVR 89)
- Jules Kounde (OVR 88)
- Jonathan David (OVR 87)
- Leonardo Bonucci (OVR 87)
- Kyle Walker (OVR 87)
