FIFA 23 is just around the corner, and it won't be long until we get our first look at some of the brand-new ratings for each team.
Check below to see our predictions for how West Ham United could look in this year's game.
Top Players
West Ham enjoyed a memorable season in Europe last campaign, reaching the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Whilst they fell short just before the final hurdle, David Moyes was still understandably pleased with his side's overall contributions.
With notable stars lighting up the London Stadium, we're expecting West Ham to once again boast a capable squad in FIFA 23.
Declan Rice
There's no doubt that Declan Rice is one of the most exciting young midfielders in the Premier League, and the new West Ham captain is set for another ratings upgrade in FIFA 23.
A dominating midfielder with a great range of physical attributes, the Hammers will have to make the most of Rice before he inevitably departs for bigger and better things.
Jarrod Bowen
A superstar at Hull City who has seamlessly transitioned into life as a Hammer, there's no doubting that Jarrod Bowen had a true breakout season last campaign.
A goal-scoring winger who is more than deserving of a significant upgrade in FIFA 23, we think Bowen could be an underrated gem in this year's game.
With another big season ahead, could this English sensation force his way into World Cup contention?
Michail Antonio
He may be getting older, but Michail Antonio isn't showing any signs of slowing down.
Another decent season in front of goal has seen us reward Antonio with a small ratings upgrade, which we feel is more than deserved for a man who has shown consistency and class over a number of seasons in the top flight.
Transfers
West Ham have had a mixed bag so far in the transfer market, making splashes for stars such as Maxwell Cornet and Gianluca Scamacca.
Flynn Downes has also been signed to cover the midfield, with more additions expected before the end of the window.
Scamacca will undoubtedly be upgraded to a gold card in FIFA 23 following a strong season in Serie A, and Cornet is also likely to receive a slight boost following an impressive first season in England.
Flynn Downes will likely remain silver, but we wouldn't be surprised if the former Swansea and Ipswich midfielder was boosted to gold at some point this campaign.
Upgrades
We've already touched on stars like Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen, with both men set to for significant upgrades in FIFA 23.
Another player who should be upgraded this year is Ben Johnson, who had a breakthrough year for West Ham operating in a number of different positions.
In truth, there aren't many other West Ham players expecting upgrades, but we could see a few drops following a shaky end to last season.
Downgrades
The Hammers were undoubtedly impressive last season, but with an ageing squad and a few stars failing to live up to the hype, we're still expecting to see downgrades for some players in FIFA 23.
Tomáš Souček is a clear contender for a downgrade, with the Czech midfielder failing to build on his breakthrough season in London.
Players such as Fabianski, Cresswell and Ogbonna are also expected to be downgraded, with the Hammers set to boast a stretched squad in FIFA 23.
