OTW Boosts
This release of Man of the Match cards will have been great news for people who own a couple of Serie A Ones to Watch players in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team!
That is because Paulo Dybala and Angel Di Maria have both seen their items upgraded due to the drop.
Dybala's OTW item now has a 90 OVR, with Di Maria sitting on an 88 OVR.
If you add a Deadeye to Dybala he will gain the stats of a 95-rated CAM, with 97 SHO, 94 PAS and 94 DRI, however, we know that a Hunter will still be the preferred option.
Again, with Di Maria, a Deadeye will give him the stats of a 93-rated CAM, but he definitely needs a Hunter attached to get a +8 pace boost!
You can stay on top of all the OTW upgrades using our Ones to Watch Tracker.
Hidden Gems
Although the Man of the Match batch may not catch the eye ratings-wise, there are still some really decent players in there that can do bits in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team!
If you're after an outstanding Championship CB for potential future objectives, then look no further than Anel Ahmedhodzic.
At 6'5", few will beat him in the air, and with a Shadow attached, he has 86 Acceleration and 98 Sprint Speed, with the stats of an 89-rated CB.
Thanks to the new in-form boost system, Karim Adeyemi has jumped from a 75 OVR to an 83 OVR, with stats not too dissimilar to his Future Stars version (the MOTM one actually has far better physicality)!
With a Finisher, he has the stats of an 88-rated ST, so if Adeyemi is the missing piece for your Ultimate Team, you could get a decent version on the cheap.
Then, there are a couple of Serie A players of note, with the pacey Hirving Lozano being one of them.
Because he already has 97 PAC, you can add a chemistry style that fully goes in on his other attributes, such as a Deadeye, Finisher, or Marksman, which can give him the stats of a 92-rated player.
If you have missed out on many of the top Serie A strikers we've had in Ultimate Team, then Luka Jovic could be worth investing in for future objectives.
He is an all-round threat, with good pace, shooting, dribbling and physicality stats.
Add a Hunter to him and he has the attributes of a 92-rated striker, with 95 PAC and 94 SHO, which will more than do for completing any upcoming tasks!
