FIFA 23's Team of the Season promo is set to kick off in a matter of days now, but before then, the TOTS Warmup Series will hit Ultimate Team.
The annual Team of the Season Warmup Series will give FUT players the chance to get their clubs prepared for the main event by accumulating packs, coins and the necessary cards.
The TOTS Warmup Series will bring us promo players as well as some of the best-value SBCs and Objectives we will see in FUT 23.
Check out everything you can expect to see during the Team of the Season Warmup Series in FIFA 23 below.
Release Date
The Team of the Season Warmup Series is set to begin on Friday, 21 April.
This TOTS Warmup Series will take over from the Trophy Titans event and will likely only last for one week in Ultimate Team.
The TOTS Warmup series will commence at 1pm ET / 6pm BST on the day of release, with any promo players hitting packs at this time.
Best of TOTW
Whilst we haven't seen any promo players leaked as of yet, we would be very surprised if no promo squad is released into packs during the TOTS Warmup Series.
EA will most likely release a 'Best of' squad for the TOTS Warmup Series.
This could come in the form of a 'Best of' promo players squad, consisting of a select few of the best cards we have seen released throughout FUT 23's promos.
However, we think a 'Best of TOTW' squad is more likely, consisting of player items from every single past FUT 23 TOTW over the twenty-four weeks.
Usually, the Best of TOTW squad is released during the Black Friday promo, but we think it could arrive sooner this year.
Only the best of the best player items will be selected by EA to be a part of the Best of the TOTW promo squad.
Here's how we think the Best of TOTW squad could shape up in FUT 23:
- Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 94)
- Mohamed Salah (OVR 93)
- Kylian Mbappe (OVR 92)
- Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 92)
- Casemiro (OVR 91)
- Neymar Jr (OVR 90)
- Gianluigi Donnarumma (OVR 90)
- Rafael Leao (OVR 88)
- Eder Militao (OVR 87)
- Achraf Hakimi (OVR 87)
- Theo Hernandez (OVR 86)
Expected SBCs
As usual, the TOTS Warmup Series will produce plenty of repeatable SBCs, giving players the chance to accumulate packs for the main event.
League-specific pack SBCs will make a return, giving players the chance to stockpile packs containing players from certain leagues.
For example, players will be able to save Ligue 1 Premium Players Packs and Eleven 81+ Ligue 1 Players Packs for the release of the Ligue 1 TOTS squad.
The FUT 22 TOTS Warmup Series featured Road to the Final SBCs and special End of an Era cards made available once again via the SBC menus.
So, EA will likely drop several player SBCs throughout the event too.
One of which could be a 91 OVR World Cup Icon Luis Figo SBC, leaked to be hitting Ultimate Team soon by Fut Sheriff.
Expected Objectives
As far as Objectives go, once again EA will surely give FUT players the chance to stockpile high-value packs.
You will be able to save plenty of packs just by completing the tasks stipulated in the Objectives tab.
EA will likely release a TOTS-based Objective combined with a repeatable SBC, as we have seen in recent months.
A few Objectives players have already been leaked to hit FUT 23 soon too, including the following:
- FUT Birthday Stephan El Shaarawy (OVR 89)
- Fantasy FUT Dominik Szoboszlai (OVR 89)
- FUT Centurion Jordi Alba (OVR 88)
- Future Stars Joe Willock (OVR 87)
