This week's FIFA 23 news has been dominated by the ratings reveals, with EA drip-feeding the official ratings to fans via social media.
We've already seen announcements for the Premier League, La Liga and more, but now it's time to take a look at Germany's first division.
The official Top 25 highest-rated Bundesliga players in FIFA 23 have been revealed and ex-Chelsea star Timo Werner has been hit hard this year.
Big Money Flop
Since joining the club back in July 2020 from RB Leipzig for a reported figure of around £47.7million, the 26-year-old has only made 44 goal contributions in the 89 appearances he has made in Blue over two campaigns.
Last season, Werner only managed to score four Premier League goals in a total of 21 appearances for Chelsea.
After an extremely disappointing 2021/22 campaign and a dispute with Thomas Tuchel, Werner's former Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig agreed to re-sign the German on a permanent move.
The price reported was in the region of £23.5million - a figure which represents a significant loss for Chelsea.
Striker Slashed
Nevertheless, Werner is back in the Bundesliga for FIFA 23, however, the German striker's rating has taken a heavy hit this time around.
Due to the consistently poor performances over an 18-month spell, EA has had no choice but to downgrade Timo by 2 overall points.
The Germany international's pace, shooting, passing and physicality have all been downgraded, taking Werner to an 82 OVR in FIFA 23.
Despite the heavy downgrade, Timo's card still boasts some brilliant stats for Ultimate Team starter squads, including 90 pace, 82 dribbling and 80 shooting.
