Showdown Upgrades Explained
Showdown cards have been a staple of Ultimate Team for years, so we know what to expect from them in FIFA 23.
Usually coming via SBCs, a player from each side of a key real-world matchup will represent their team, gaining a boosted card from their base version.
Those cards then have the chance of an additional upgrade, depending on the result of the fixture.
The player from the winning team will gain a +2 OVR Upgrade, with the player from the losing team seeing no change to their card rating.
If the game ends in a draw, both players will receive a +1 OVR Upgrade.
