FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with brand new ratings leaking out for some of football's biggest stars.
We'll cast your minds back to the beautiful summer of 2021, when England almost captured their first piece of silverware for about 800 years.
Ultimately, Southgate's men fell at the final hurdle, and since then the fortunes of that England side have certainly changed.
With FIFA 23 ratings now leaked, we want to look at the side that started the EURO final and assess just how badly they have all been downgraded in FIFA 23.
Jordan Pickford (Downgraded)
It's no surprise that Jordan Pickford has been downgraded this year following the dreadful season that his club side endured last term.
Likely to continue as England's number 1 moving forward, we're hopeful Pickford can save his best for this year's World Cup.
Kyler Walker (Same)
It's not surprising that Man City stars have retained their ratings this year, after Guardiola's side once again capture the league title.
Walker retains his 95 ratings, with the speedy full-back once again set to be a key player for club and country.
John Stones (Same)
Another City star who remains the same, John Stones has realised his true potential in the last two seasons.
A star for England at the EURO last year, Stones will be happy that he remains unmoved in FIFA 23.
Harry Maguire (Downgraded)
Another downgrade is arriving for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire and this one is hefty.
Down 3 overall ratings after a horrendous year, Maguire won't want to be looking at his new card any time soon.
Keiran Trippier (Same)
Remarkably, Kieran Trippier has retained his 84 OVR rating according to the FIFA 23 rating leaks.
Now a star for Newcastle, Trippier is continuing to show himself to be one of the most consistent players in the Premier League.
Kalvin Phillips (Same)
Kalvin Phillips spent most of last season on the treatment table, but the England midfielder still earnt himself a big move to Manchester City.
He may have held his rating without any movement, but Phillips could be looking at a successful year at the Etihad.
Declan Rice (Upgraded)
Our first upgraded English player arrives in the form of Declan Rice, with the West Ham midfielder once again showing his class last season.
A player destined for the top, we're not surprised that Rice has seen his rating boosted in FIFA 23.
Luke Shaw (Downgrade)
Luke Shaw has taken the biggest hit of any player from the squad that faced Italy in the final, with the Manchester United full-back dropping 4 overall ratings to only just make it into the 80s.
It's been another poor season for the Southampton academy graduate, with little hope of a major comeback for this dwindling star.
Mason Mount (Upgraded)
Mason Mount and Declan Rice have a formidable friendship in real life, and clearly, that power has reflected in their FIFA 23 ratings.
Mount has jumped up one overall after a decent year for Chelsea, with the boyhood Portsmouth fan once again hoping to turn in big performances at the World Cup.
Raheem Sterling (Downgraded)
Raheem Sterling has swapped Manchester for London this year, but nothing could save him for a downgrade in FIFA 23.
Now down to an 86 OVR, Sterling is facing an uncertain path towards the World Cup.
Harry Kane (Downgraded)
The most surprising confirmed downgrade for FIFA 23 is arriving for Harry Kane, with the England captain falling out of the 90 club.
It's a big shame for Kane, who by all accounts had a top season for Spurs, but that hasn't stopped EA from taking an axe to his FIFA rating.
Elsewhere, there have been notable downgrades in FIFA 23 for these other England stars:
- Marcus Rashford - Downgraded to an 81 OVR
- Jadon Sancho - Downgraded to an 84 OVR
