FIFA 23 rating season is almost upon us, with the world's biggest stars set to have their FIFA 23 overalls revealed.
With ratings for Ronaldo and Messi leaking out, we've got the latest on another leaked downgrade arriving for a national team star.
Check below for everything you need to know about Neymar's shock downgrade in FIFA 23.
Neymar DOWNGRADED
Brazilian superstar Neymar hasn't just had to deal with being eclipsed by PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe, he's now having to deal with the fact that EA has taken a huge swing at his rating.
The Brazilian winger was 91 rated in FIFA 22, but the latest leaks for this year's game have indicated that Neymar is set to drop to an 89 overall.
In truth, Neymar wasn't outstanding for his club last season, but this rating chop has still taken us by surprise.
With Mbappe and Messi set to be higher rated than the world's most expensive player, it's looking like that switch to Paris hasn't really paid off after all.
Trouble in Paris
Neymar won't be the only PSG star to receive a downgrade this year, with Lionel Messi also set to face the chop.
A lack of goals and some sub-par performances in the league will likely see Messi downgraded in FIFA 23, but there's no fear of him dropping below the 90 mark.
We've also predicted Cristiano Ronaldo to be rated 91 in the new game and considering all the variables, we think it's fair that these two should be on the same level once again.
Messi has enjoyed personal and international success, but a poor season at club level should see the Argentine drop down a rating or two.
