October POTM Contenders
Only one can claim the October Player of the Month award and gain an upgraded card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, but it could be a tight-run thing.
Erling Haaland
By the looks of things, Erling Haaland will be involved in every POTM contenders list of the season.
He only played four matches (with others taking part in six), but he still managed to score six and assist twice.
That included a hat trick and a couple of assists in the 6-3 demolition of Manchester United, which he gained a Team of the Week card for.
Miguel Almiron
A very loveable character, Miguel Almiron's hard work is finally resulting in goals.
He scored six in six during October, with the only game he didn't net in being a draw against Man United.
That was also the only time Newcastle dropped points, with their impressive form seeing them climb to fourth in the table!
Callum Wilson
Callum Wilson has also been vital in Newcastle's progression, returning from a hamstring injury and firing straight away.
He managed goal involvements in four of their six matches, contributing four goals as well as two assists.
Leandro Trossard
Brighton started strong this season but didn't manage to win a game after Graham Potter's departure until meeting his Chelsea side in the final game of October.
Leandro Trossard is in with an outside chance of inclusion, scoring five times during the month.
That included a hat trick against Liverpool, with him also netting against Manchester City and Chelsea.
Kevin De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne continues his brilliant campaign with three assists and two goals in October.
His final goal of the month was a beautiful free-kick, which proved the match-winner in a 1-0 victory over a resilient Leicester.
September POTM Winner
Manchester United's Marcus Rashford picked up September's Premier League Player of the Month award, gaining a very popular 84 OVR card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
After it seemed like he had gone off the boil, Rashford found his form once again, which included a brace and an assist in an impressive display against Arsenal.
