FIFA 23 Licenses: Five KEY pieces set to be MISSING from this year's game

FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with a host of leaks and rumours spilling out regarding this year's game.

We've seen some big news regarding licenses in FIFA 23, with a number of clubs and stadiA set to be missing from this year's game.

With that in mind, here are five missing pieces that will be absent from the puzzle in FIFA 23.

Nou Camp

Absent from the FIFA series for far too long, the Nou Camp is once again set to be missing in FIFA 23.

NO CAMP - Barca's stadium will once again be missing in FIFA 23

An iconic cathedral of football that is sorely missed by fans, it's looking increasingly likely that Barcelona will once again be playing in an unlicensed stadium in FIFA 23.

With no news on the license deal surrounding the Nou Camp, we're expecting it to once again be missing in this year's game.

AS Roma

Serie A represents a very strange license battlefield, with deals within the league bouncing between FIFA and eFootball.

AC Milan are one such side to have signed with eFootball, but we are still expecting them to feature in FIFA 23.

One club that will be missing from FIFA 23 are Italian capital giants Roma, who will be unlicensed once more in this year's game.

With a number of sides torn between licensing deals, Serie A will certainly feel like a confusing mess in FIFA 23.

Allianz Arena

Another iconic stadium set to be missing from FIFA 23 is the Allianz Arena, with Bayern Munich extending their contract with eFootball.

This comes as a blow to many FIFA fans, with Sanderson Park not exactly comparing to Bayern's footballing cathedral.

MAJOR MISS - The Allianz will NOT feature in FIFA 23

With EA still boasting the rights to the Champions League, seeing this stadium missing only serves to make the game feel incomplete.

LIGA MX

Mexico's top flight are packing their bags and leaving, with the LIGA BBVA MX siding with eFootball.

This means that top clubs like Tigres, C.F Monterrey and Cruz Azul will all be absent from FIFA 23.

Whilst that may not seem like a huge loss, the Mexican league still possesses a strong following, and its absence takes away a unique option for players who enjoy both Career Mode and Online Seasons.

Napoli

A side that will be missing for the very first time from the FIFA franchise is Napoli, with the Italian powerhouses siding with Konami and eFootball.

This means that The Azzurri will become the latest on a long list of unlicensed Serie A sides, with their iconic stadium and kits set to be absent from FIFA 23.

MOVING AWAY - Napoli have featured for the final time in the FIFA series

Losing this license is another major blow to EA, who are seeking to win the battle against their competitors.

Unfortunately, the tussle between companies to secure the best licenses only serves to the detriment of the fans, with multiple games now feeling incomplete and messy.
