FIFA 23 will be released soon, which means it's time to start planning your started squads for this year's game.
The FUT 23 Web App will launch before the full game hits, giving you a chance to earn some valuable coins and capture some of your starter cards ahead of release.
We've created a budget La Liga starter squad that will compete with the best around and get you results during the early stages of the FUT cycle.
Unai Simon - GK
There are plenty of goalkeepers to pick from in La Liga with ratings around the 80s, so it will be a case of seeing which one is the best priced when Ultimate Team launches.
We've opted for Unai Simon, who we think will be rated 82 OVR, and he will be one of the best choices behind the big three of Thibaut Courtois, Jan Oblak and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Ander Capa - RB
Small but powerful, Ander Capa has decent pace and good ability on the ball.
You could opt for someone faster, such as Sergino Dest, but Capa will give better defensive cover.
Mario Hermoso - CB
A few of the staple CBs from previous games have seen a big rating increase, which will also see their price increase, so things will be a bit different in FIFA 23.
Mario Hermoso makes our selection as he has solid pace, defending and physicality stats.
Nacho Fernandez - CB
Similar to his defensive partner, Nacho Fernandez should make a decent team with Hermoso.
He is leaked to be rated 82 OVR in the upcoming game, so he could have a nice little bump in stats too.
Alex Telles - LB
Before you eventually move on to getting Ferland Mendy into your La Liga side, Alex Telles will be a top placeholder.
After a poor campaign with Manchester United, his rating will take a hit, but he will still be a great all-rounder who can carry the ball out from the back.
Eduardo Camavinga - CM
We've opted for a balanced midfield three, and it was a toss-up between Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni for the defensive role.
Camavinga takes it as he is a bit more mobile and we suspect will be rated lower, so cheaper to get hold of.
Rodrigo De Paul - CM
Rodrigo De Paul is a class all-rounder and can play a good box-to-box role in the side.
He is another who could be in for a little upgrade in FIFA 23.
Matheus Cunha - CAM
Our attacking midfield role goes to a FUT favourite, Matheus Cunha.
He sees a lot of play thanks to his great pace in the middle of the park and is leaked to get an 81 OVR this season.
Raphina - RW
We've gone for pace up top, with Raphinha supplying that from the right.
Hopefully, his price won't be too high, with his rating leaked to increase to 83 OVR.
Inaki Williams - ST
There aren't many quicker in the league than Inaki Williams, who provides power and an aerial threat too.
He doesn't have the finesse of other strikers, but can still be deadly.
Ansu Fati - LW
Finishing off the side is Barcelona's Ansu Fati, who again offers speed and tight dribbling on the flank.
He is yet another of the side who could be in for an upgrade in FIFA 23, up to 79 OVR.
