FIFA 23: TWO La Liga strikers outrank EVERY other card in the game

It's officially FIFA 23 Ratings week and the reveals just keep on coming!

EA has already dropped the Top 25 Premier League players, as well as the Most Improved players and the FIFA 23 Ambassadors.

The Top 25 highest-rated La Liga cards have now been confirmed too, with two Spanish division one strikers outranking every other card in the game this year.

Real Madrid's Karim Benzema and Barcelona new boy Robert Lewandowski have both been handed 91 OVR cards, making them the highest-rated players in Spain and the entirety of FIFA 23.

Fantastic Frenchman

The rivalry between the giant Spanish clubs continues into FIFA 23 with a striker from each club in the top bracket.

It was only ever going to be one man from the current UEFA Champions League title holders Real Madrid - Karim Benzema.

PROLIFIC PLAYER - You simply cannot stop Benzema

The France international striker astonishingly managed to score 44 goals whilst picking up 15 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions during the 2021/22 campaign.

The 34-year-old has deservedly been handed a +2 OVR upgrade and is now the joint-highest rated player in the game.

Perfect Pole

Similarly, Barcelona's summer signing from Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski is also a world-class striker at the age of 34.

The Poland international netted an incredible 50 goals in 46 matches for the German champions in all competitions last season, whilst also providing seven assists.

GOALSCORING MACHINE - Lewandowski is relentless

EA has shockingly decided that Lewandowski deserved a -1 overall downgrade ahead of FIFA 23, taking the striker to 91 OVR.

Despite the unwarranted downgrade, the Barca number nine is still up there with the very best players in the game, alongside Kevin de Bruyne, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.
