LATEST - Winner LEAKED
The voting has now closed for September's La Liga Player of the Month award, and although nothing has been officially confirmed, the winner has been leaked.
Federico Valverde is said to have claimed the award, which means a totally overpowered card could soon enter the game via SBC.
September Nominees Revealed
As can be found on EA's official website, the nominees for the La Liga Player of the Month for September have been revealed.
The nominees are as follows:
- Robert Lewandowski
- Dani Parejo
- Federico Valverde
- Luiz Felipe
- Brais Mendez
- Samu Castillejo
- Nico Williams
Robert Lewandowski
Robert Lewandowski keeps up his remarkable scoring record even after moving club, with 11 in eight for Barcelona already.
The Catalan club won all three matches in September without conceding, and Lewa scored in each game, with an added couple of assists against Cadiz and a brace against Elche.
Dani Parejo
Despite strong individual performances from Dani Parejo, it's been a mixed bag for Villarreal in September.
After winning two and drawing one in their opening three, they have won one, lost one, and drawn one this month, slipping down the table slightly.
Federico Valverde
Real Madrid continued their 100% start to the season and are still to drop a point.
Federico Valverde has shown his usual versatility, playing at CM and RW, providing a crucial assist against Real Betis, scoring against Mallorca, and then getting the winning goal in the Madrid derby - which also earned him a place in FIFA 23's Team of the Week 1.
Luiz Felipe
Luiz Felipe has settled into his new club Real Betis well and is already putting in top performances.
Although they only managed to keep one clean sheet in three, the side only lost to Real Madrid, the only points they've dropped this season.
Brais Mendez
Another new signing, and again, Brais Mendez looks to have settled well with Real Sociedad.
He scored a consolation goal five minutes after coming off the bench in one game and followed that with another in the next that proved to be more decisive.
Samu Castillejo
It's been all or nothing for Valencia this season, and they followed up their two losses and a win in August with two wins and a loss in September.
Samu Castillejo grabbed a goal in each of their wins and is now up and running at his new club.
Nico Williams
After plenty of substitute appearances last season, young Nico Williams has played himself into the starting XI at Athletic Bilbao.
The manager's choice has been rewarded, with Williams scoring twice and providing an assist, including grabbing the vital third goal which secured a win against Elche.
