More Squad Building Challenges will be hitting FIFA 23 Ultimate Team soon, with Player of the Month (POTM) cards inbound.
The nominees for October's La Liga POTM have just been revealed, and it features a certain new Barcelona striker once again!
So, check out who the La Liga October POTM nominees are below, and find out who could claim a boosted card via SBC in FUT 23.
October Nominees
There is still another round of La Liga matches to be played before October ends, which could prove decisive in who gains the award for the month and an upgraded card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
However, the nominees are already in and are as follows:
Robert Lewandowski
Barca's new star forward continues to keep up his phenomenal goalscoring record, adding another four to his tally during five games in October so far.
On top of that, he has also provided two assists, although one did come in the side's 3-1 loss to Real Madrid.
Aside from that, it was a pretty perfect month for the Catalan club, winning the other four games without conceding.
Federico Valverde
Federico Valverde has been sensational for Real Madrid so far this season, which has already resulted in a Team of the Week and Player of the Month card (let's not forget his Road to the Knockouts card either - which will be upgraded soon).
He scored three in three in Madrid's most recent games, with the side winning four and drawing once in October.
The one time they dropped points was also the only game that Valverde didn't start - coincidence?!
Antoine Griezmann
With Antoine Griezmann's bizarre contract situation now resolved, he has started four of the five games in October, contributing in each of them.
Atletico Madrid won four and drew one, climbing up to third in the table.
Griezmann scored three and assisted twice, with all his involvements proving vital.
Sergio Leon
Sergio Leon hit a hot patch of form in October, which helped his Real Valladolid side escape the relegation zone, and are now sitting mid-table.
They managed three wins, a draw and a loss, with the striker netting five goals.
All of these came in wins, including a couple of braces, with his goals proving decisive in two of the games.
Joselu
Espanyol isn't having the best of seasons, but it would be a whole lot worse if Joselu hadn't been around.
He scored four times in five matches, securing points for the side in each.
With his goals, they managed to claim six points, without them that would have been halved.
Brais Mendez
Brais Mendez has kept improving as the season goes on, helping Real Sociedad to fourth in the table.
He managed two goals and two assists spread across all four of their wins in October, and like with Joselu, his contributions mean they have double the points that they could have.
Isi
Isi hasn't been as prolific as others on the shortlist, and really, it would be amazing if he picked up the award.
He has a goal and two assists to his name in October, with his Rayo Vallecano side managing two wins, two draws and a loss.
September Winner
Real Madrid's Federico Valverde picked up September's La Liga Player of the Month award with a very popular 86 OVR card.
There is still time to bring the Uruguayan to your side, with the SBC expiring on Sunday, 13 November.
