There's nothing a FUT player loves more than free packs, especially at the start of the game cycle, when every single card holds value.
This year, there will be a few different methods for acquiring free packs in Ultimate Team, aside from earning them through Divison Rivals, Squad Battles and FUT Champions rewards.
So, check out the different ways you can get your hands on some free packs in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team below.
FUT 23 Pre Season
The FUT 23 Pre-Season promo is similar to the FUT 22 and FUT 21 Pre-Season events from FIFA 21 and FIFA 20.
It gives users the opportunity to earn rewards in the current game whilst securing packs ready for when the next instalment comes around.
By completing SBCs and Objectives during the event you will earn various rewards in FIFA 22, while also earning prizes for when you start FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
These FUT 23 rewards include coin boosts, players packs, loan players, chemistry styles, position modifiers and other consumables.
As well as allowing you to prep for FIFA 23, the event is also a celebration of the FIFA 22 cycle and will have 'Best Of' re-releases, giving you another chance to get hold of some of the top players from previous promos in FUT 22.
Prime Gaming Packs
Twitch Prime Gaming Packs have been a feature in Ultimate Team for a while now, much to the delight of FUT fanatics.
Prime Gaming Packs are completely free once you have connected your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team to an Amazon Prime account.
This Amazon account doesn't even have to be your own and can unlock some awesome rewards in FIFA Ultimate Team.
The latest Twitch Prime Gaming Pack was released on Monday, 22 August.
The rewards for the August Prime Gaming Pack #11 are as follows:
- 5x Gold Rare Players
- 1x min. 83+ Player Pick (1 of 4)
We expect the first Twitch Prime Gaming Pack of FIFA 23 to be released on Monday, 24 October, so keep an eye out for that!
FIFA Global Series
The FIFA Global Series (FGS) watch-along rewards system in FIFA 22 was simple.
The streams can be watched through Twitter, which means you need to link your EA and Twitter accounts, which you can do by visiting ea.com/twitchlinking.
Then you go to the EA Sports Twitch channel and watch at least 60 minutes of an eligible event.
You don't really need to be watching intently, all you need to do is have the stream playing in the background.
This process earns you a guaranteed FGS Player Token that can be redeemed for Untradeable Pack Rewards in FUT 22.
We will no doubt see the FGS system return in FIFA 23.
