FIFA 23 - FUT Centurion card design REVEALED with *NEW* promo inbound

The FIFA 23 World Cup content just keeps on coming, with daily SBCs and Objectives dropping in Ultimate Team.

EA has introduced several different card types during the promotional campaign including World Cup Path to Glory items, Road to the World Cup items, World Cup Stories and World Cup Phenoms.

It looks like yet another new card type will hit Ultimate Team very soon, with the 'FUT Centurions' item recently added to the code.

The new special item's card design has now been revealed too and it looks like EA has outdone themselves this time around...

FUT Centurions card design

@FutArcade has been spot-on with his FIFA 23 leaks so far and he has brought us yet another exclusive.

The FUT Centurion card design is quite possibly the most beautiful we have ever seen in Ultimate Team, as you can see in the Tweet below.

A classy red and gold colour scheme brings together the marble collum and the number 100 to form a mesmerising special item.

Whether will release the FUT Centurions as part of a new promotional squad or as individual SBC cards in Ultimate Team remains to be seen.

What is the 'FUT Centurions' promo?

We expect special FUT Centurion items to be handed to players who have reached milestones within real-world football that are associated with the number 100.

Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne is our front-runner for a FUT Centurions item.

As a result of City setting an English top-flight record for most points in a single season, with 100, the team received the nickname "Centurions", and have been acclaimed by pundits and football journalists as being one of the greatest teams in Premier League history.

So, it makes sense for a City player to be handed the first FUT Centurions card and who better than their midfield maestro KDB?

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba could be selected for a FUT Centurions item after he became the first-ever £100m footballer when making the switch from the Serie A to the Premier League back in the summer of 2016.

Real Madrid’s 2011-12 campaign under Jose Mourinho was an unforgettable one for Los Blancos. It culminated in them winning their first La Liga crown in four years and reaching 100 points in the league for the season.

France international striker and Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema could be the player selected for a FUT Centurions card from that special squad as he still plays for the Spanish side.
