FIFA 23 has supplied us with plenty of excitement so far this year, but we all know that there is room for improvement.

With that in mind, we want to take a look at five things yet to arrive in this year's game which are certain to provide much excitement.

FIFA 23 New Features

FIFA 23 is very much a live game these days, and we're not just talking about Ultimate Team.

Whilst FUT will receive the most love, there are plenty of additions yet to be made that will make FIFA 23 a better game from top to bottom.

More Authentic Scans

We've already received news that a number of new authentic face scans will be added to FIFA 23 soon, with Premier League stars aplenty set to look better than ever.

It won't just be the one batch that promises to bring new levels of realism to this year's game, we're certain to see new and updated scans drop in throughout the year.

New scans will arrive in due time for promoted sides like Forest, Bournemouth and Fulham, whilst other Premier League managers could also be given an authentic touch.

EA always strives to make FIFA look and feel more real than ever and the improvements are set to keep on coming in the next few months.

Team of the Year

The World Cup content may have sprinkled some extra fun into Ultimate Team, but Team of the Year is set to take things to the next level.

One of the most exciting promos of the year, Team of the Year will celebrate the best stars of 2022, with outrageous cards set to arrive in Ultimate Team.

Whilst there's no confirmed release date for Team of the Year, we're expecting it to follow soon after the World Cup, with a number of incredible superstars set to be furnished with amazing cards in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

A New Stadium

It won't just be new face scans arriving in FIFA 23 in the coming months, a new stadium will also arrive in FIFA 23 soon.

Nottingham Forest set the Championship alight last year, securing promotion to the Premier League.

OLD HOME - The City Ground will be arriving soon in FIFA 23

Steve Cooper's side have long been turning out at Ivy Lane in FIFA, but that looks set to change early next year when the City Ground gets officially scanned and added into this year's game.

The stadium will likely arrive early next year, but these dates could change due to scan timeframes.

Rating Updates

Whilst new players and stadiums get the pulses racing, there will also be a number of rating updates that will arrive in January.

Stars that have proven EA wrong in the first half of the season will receive richly-deserved upgrades, with these new ratings set to come into play across all modes.

Certain upgraded stars will also receive new FUT items to reflect their top performances.

So far, obvious contenders for such an upgrade include the likes of Youssouffa Moukoko, Miguel Almiron and pretty much the entire Arsenal squad.

Teases for the Future

We all know that FIFA 23 will be the final collaboration between EA Sports and FIFA.

With that being said, we don't know a lot about what will feature in the newly titled EA Sports FC.
