FIFA 23 is just around the corner, and it won't be long until we get our first look at some of the brand-new ratings for each team.
Check below to see our predictions for how Everton could look in this year's game.
Top Players
There's no denying that Everton were particularly dreadful last season, only surviving relegation by the skin of their teeth.
With top striker Richarlison leaving and no real quality brought in, it's looking like it will be another tough year for the Toffees.
With that in mind, they'll need some of these stars to perform if they're going to stay up.
Jordan Pickford
A hero for many reasons, Pickford was one of the brighter lights for Everton last season, with a particularly sensational display against Chelsea giving Everton fans hope.
Whilst no one wants their goalkeeper to be their best player, we think Pickford will maintain a top rating in FIFA 23.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
He may look flash on the catwalk, but that does about seem the only place that Dominic Calvert-Lewin isn't injured.
Certain for a downgrade following a poor and inconsistent season, Everton will need this man to start scoring if they're going to survive the drop.
Demarai Gray
Demarai Gray had a standout season for Everton last year, with the winger providing a small glimmer of hope in an otherwise underwhelming year.
Him and fellow winger Anthony Gordon will both receive upgrades this year, but we're not expecting too many other Everton players to share their positive fate.
Transfers
It's been a quiet transfer window so far for Everton, with things set to heat up before the deadline closes.
A striker is a priority, with little business done so far to bolster the Toffees' attack.
Dwight McNeil has signed from Burnley with Amadou Onana also signing for a large fee.
However, when all is said and done, you can't help but feel like Everton will need a major rebuild moving forward.
Upgrades
Unfortunately, we don't think many Everton players will be receiving upgrades this year.
Anthony Gordon is the only obvious contender for an upgrade, with the young winger proving himself to be a hero last season.
Gordon could rise almost 10 overall ratings, with Everton's newest hero more than deserving of a gold card.
Apart from a potential for Gray, we can't see anything but red for this Everton side.
Downgrades
There will be A LOT of downgrades for this Everton team, with Calvert-Lewin, Allan, Mina, Coleman, Rondon and more all set for a drop.
No players justify an upgrade - other than Gordon and Gray - and whilst some will save face and stay the same, plenty will see their rating plummet.
With all that in mind, we don't think Everton will be anyone's favourite team to use in FIFA 23.
