DOUBLE TROUBLE - Gakpo got his second upgrade of the season

Cody Gakpo was the frontrunner for the Player of the Month award, with two goals and three assists in three September games helping his side to sit top of the table.

Although PSV lost their first match of the month, they won the following two, with Gakpo scoring the only goal of the game against RKC Waalwijk, then being involved in all four against Feyenoord, as they won 4-3!

He gained a TOTW inclusion for that performance and adds another special card to his name.

Jens Odgaard

BIG BOOST - A POTM boost could increased Odgaard's rating nicely

AZ Alkmaar is also near the top of the Eredivisie having not lost a game so far.

Jens Odgaard scored a goal in each of their four games in September, with three crucial ones that meant the side gained eight points instead of four.

Odgaard was also up there as a top contender for the award and he would have received a big rating boost had he claimed it!

Bas Dost

BIG MAN - Even with the current meta we're not sure Dost would see much play

The giant Dutchman Bas Dost has been scoring regularly at new club FC Utrecht and once again provided vital contributions in September.

A goal and an assist saw his side win 4-3, then he followed that up with the only goal of the game against Vitesse for another three points.

The side drew their final game of the month to go unbeaten in September.
