FIFA 23 is here and players are fiercely competing in various game modes and competitions including Career Mode and Ultimate Team.
EA has recently revealed the official stats from the first 23 days of FIFA and there are plenty of interesting details to get our teeth stuck into.
None more so, however, than the top goalscorers of the first 23 days, as a certain Manchester United star has pipped Man City's goalscoring machine to the number one spot.
Red Devil on Fire
Yep, you heard that right, Marcus Rashford has scored more goals than Erling Haaland, amongst other players, within the first 23 days of FIFA 23.
The same cannot be said for the rivals' real Premier League tally this season, as the Norwegian has scored 17 goals compared to the Englishman's four.
However, this is FIFA, and Rashford is the game's most prolific player so far.
The 25-year-old's popularity in FIFA 23 is partially due to his five-star skill moves, as well as his brilliant pace, shooting and dribbling stats.
The Manchester United number 10 was also handed a special Player of the Month (POTM) item in Ultimate Team as a reward for his outstanding performances in the English top flight during the month of September.
The England footballing icon's POTM card boasts 94 shot power, which could explain the extraordinary number of goals he has scored in FIFA so far.
FIFA 23 Top Scorers
Rashford is the man at the top of the pile when it comes to goals, but of course, there were some big names not too far behind him.
Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe comes in at number two which is a surprise, given he is undoubtedly the best base card in the game this year.
Premier League strikers Erling Haaland, Darwin Nunez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gabriel Jesus all make the top 10.
The official top 10 highest goalscoring players of FIFA 23 so far are:
- Marcus Rashford
- Kylian Mbappe
- Darwin Nunez
- Erling Haaland
- Gabriel Jesus
- Arnaut Danjuma
- Timo Werner
- Cristiano Ronaldo
- Karim Benzema
- Vinicius Jr.
