Arguably football's greatest player of all time Cristiano Ronaldo entered an exclusive club on Sunday evening as he scored his 700th club career goal.
In fact, Ronaldo did not enter the 700 club... he created it. No player in the history of football has scored 700 club goals other than the famous CR7.
This special milestone could prompt EA to bring back the Record Breaker player item one last time in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
CR700
Cristiano Ronaldo reached yet another landmark in his illustrious career by scoring his 700th club career goal as Manchester United secured a victory over Everton at Goodison Park.
Ronaldo's clinical left-foot finish, set up by former Real Madrid teammate Casemiro, took the 37-year-old's Man United tally to 144 over the course of his two spells at the club.
The Portugal international forward netted an astonishing 450 for Real Madrid, 101 for Juventus and five for Sporting Clube de Portugal.
It was just the footballing icon's second goal of the season, having scored his 699th in the Europa League against FC Sheriff last month.
Cristiano Ronaldo's winning goal against Everton takes his total to 700 club goals in just 943 club appearances.
What are Record Breaker cards in FUT?
For those of you that are unfamiliar, Record Breaker items are special cards in Ultimate Team that are assigned to players based on real-life football.
Record Breaker cards have not been featured in Ultimate Team since FIFA 21.
Players essentially receive Record Breaker cards as rewards for reaching special milestones on the pitch.
Record Breaker items get hefty ratings boosts across the board, have a special card design and are usually very rare.
Record Breaker Ronaldo
We hope EA recognise Ronaldo's incredible achievement by handing him a Record Breaker card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
There is no better reason to bring the Record Breaker cards out of the FUT volt than the Portuguese legend scoring his 700th club career goal.
The famous number seven could be rewarded with an insane 92 OVR card that looks somewhat like the card in the image below.
Ronaldo's Record Breaker card could boast 94 shooting, 92 pace and 87 dribbling, along with five-star skill moves and a four-star weak foot.
EA will most likely release this CR7 card as a special Squad Building Challenge in FUT 23.
Be warned, though, Record Breaker Ronaldo will cost an arm and a leg in Ultimate Team so it may be worth saving your fodder in case the Red Devil arrives soon.
