FIFA 23 is just around the corner, meaning it won't be long until we're all starting our journey in a brand-new game.
With that in mind, we want to take a look at everything we know about the FIFA 23 Beta, giving fans the chance to get their hands on the new game before anyone else.
LATEST - ALL game modes UNLOCKED
FIFA 23 Beta testers can now try out all game modes!
Initially, users are restricted to a specific few modes that usually matches their playing habits from FIFA 22, but on Wednesday, 24 August, EA opened up all modes for anyone lucky enough to have a code.
FIFA 23 Beta
The FIFA 23 Beta offers fans the chance to get early access to the game, initially restricting them on game modes before the full game is unlocked.
As has been in previous years, the Beta is once again only available to those fans that have played FIFA regularly for a number of years, with a code arriving via email.
There were rumours last year that the FIFA 22 Beta was set to be scrapped, but thankfully those turned out to be false.
The first set of Beta codes was sent out on Thursday, 11 August, with selected game modes available depending on the user.
Beta Game Modes
The following game modes are available for all in the FIFA 23 Beta:
- Kick Off
- Online Seasons
- Online Friendlies
- Practice Arena
Then, at least one of the following modes is available depending on the user:
- VOLTA Football
- FIFA Ultimate Team
- Career Mode
- Pro Clubs
Demo
There is a big difference between the FIFA 23 Beta and the FIFA 23 Demo.
EA has not yet confirmed whether we'll be getting a FIFA 23 Demo this year.
There was no free FIFA 22 Demo to download on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X, or PC.
Instead, EA provided fans with 10-hour and 20-hour trials, courtesy of their EA Play app.
We expect the same to be the case for FIFA 23, which means you will be able to access the full game for both time limits, but you will also need to pay a small fee to enjoy it.
