THE CAPTAINS ARE COMING! - After much build-up, the FUT Captain promo should finally drop

Monday

Weekend League rewards are available at 2am ET / 7am BST if you did not complete all your matches.

Team of the Week 28 wasn't the greatest around, but still has seven players rated 85 OVR or higher.

At 90 OVR, Keylor Navas is the pick of the bunch, with the only other man useable at this stage of the season being the 86-rated Aurelien Tchouameni.

The Showdown Series is the latest promo in FUT and managed to land without too many spoilers!

As well as daily SBCs you need to keep an eye on, the event has also brought objectives for two new cards, West Ham's Andriy Yarmolenko and Lyon's Thiago Mendes.

You have until Thursday, 7 April to complete the objectives for both cards, so make sure you make them your first priority.

The Showdown Classic objectives have made a return, which is an easy way to get some packs, just make sure you play your allocated matches each day in the Live FUT Friendly.

Tuesday

Today is your last chance to bring in Silver Stars Erik Palmer-Brown, so make sure you have completed that.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, and he is also a Fantasy FUT card, so has the chance to increase in rating.

There isn't masses of content to be getting on with at the moment, so now is a good time to focus on completing the Icon Swaps 2 Set 2 objectives.

The objectives expire on Monday, 18 April, so make sure you are completing all of those tasks in order to trade in for the best rewards.

You can look to combine multiple Icon Swaps 2 objectives using this simple guide, which will help you complete them in the quickest possible time.

Wednesday

Team of the Week 29 will arrive on Wednesday, 6 April at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

The domestic season has resumed, and we could see one of the best cards in the game included in the side.

NUMBER ONE - Mbappe was unplayable at the weekend

Kylian Mbappe scored twice and assisted twice, in what was a dominant performance.

It usually takes something special for one of the big stars to get included in TOTW, and this was exactly that.

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 7 April, but aside from that, it will be a quiet day for new content.

The Showdown Series is set to end, so EA could have another surprise in store for us and drop something big, but don't hold your breath.

Carry on with the Icon Swaps objectives, or if you've completed them all, look to smash through the MLS Squad Foundation objectives.

You may be put off by MLS players, as they can be hard to link with other leagues, but they are definitely worth bringing into your club as our review shows.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at 4am ET / 9am BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

There is no confirmation on what the next promo could be, but it looks like the elusive FUT Captains event will finally materialise!

A recent Tweet from reliable leaker Fut Sheriff is talking about it, and there is space in the calendar, so it would make sense.

It is too soon to see the Team of the Season promo just yet, although rumours are circulating that it could come earlier this year.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

If you've not entered, then you can focus on smashing through as many Icon Swaps 2 objectives as possible, which will also make your Squad Battle rewards better.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the Icon Swaps 2 and player objectives.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League or player objectives and Icon Swaps.

If the FUT Captains promo does arrive, then we could also see a mini-release of players at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Live SBCs

There are quite a few Icon cards available at the moment, and we would recommend completing their loan card options, as you can use them infinitely in FUT Friendlies, and they could come in very useful in the future.

To find out all the current Live SBCs, check out our SBC Hub.

Worth completing:

  • Hany Mukhtar - A really nippy card that will help complete the MLS objectives
  • Ruslan Malinovskyi - So cheap it's effectively a free 87-rated card
  • Joel Matip - You won't play with him but bring him in to use in future SBCs
  • Victor Osimhen - Another card that is so cheap you will have no problem completing it with fodder in your club
  • Eran Zahavi - Same as above, cheap and cheerful
  • Wout Weghorst - A bit pricey but an insane end-game striker
  • Fabio Carvalho - Cheap and incredibly good stats, will help with any possible Championship objectives
  • Marcus Tavernier - Same as Carvalho above
