Despite no word on social media from EA, the Team of the Year midfielders are currently available in packs for a limited time.
Chelsea duo N'Golo Kante and Jorginho along with Kevin De Bruyne are the players available, and their new cards are incredible.

They will soon be replaced in packs though before returning later in the week, so you better move fast if you are looking to secure one!
Midfielders out now
All three Team of the Year midfielders were released into packs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on Sunday, 23 January.
With all three stars coming from the Premier League, N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, and Kevin De Bruyne are the players to look out for if you have a squad from the English top flight.
As you can see from the tweet above, the midfielders will be replaced in packs on Tuesday, 25 January by the four defenders and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
They will then be available again on Friday, 28 January along with the full Ultimate XI and 12th man.
TOTY Schedule
The release dates of Team of the Year players can be accurately estimated now, so these are the dates we know so far.
TOTY Schedule:
- Friday, 7 January - Forward Nominees revealed
- Saturday, 8 January - Midfield Nominees revealed
- Sunday, 9 January - Defender & Goalkeeper Nominees revealed
- Monday, 10 January - Voting begins
- Tuesday, 18 January - Voting closes
- Thursday, 20 January - TOTY revealed
- Friday, 21 January - Strikers released
- Sunday, 23 January - Midfielders released
- Tuesday, 25 January - Defenders & Goalkeeper released
- Friday, 28 January - Ultimate XI released
Like last year, EA will release each set of positions individually, before adding all the TOTY items into packs to finish off the promo.
How much?
Let's be honest, your chances of packing a Team of the Year item is unlikely. In fact, they are less than 1% even in the Ultimate Packs!
With this in mind, you will likely need to save up and splash out on the cards you want, but how much will you need?
To sum up, lots! N'Golo Kante is the most expensive TOTY midfielder at just under 4 million coins, so he may be out of price range.
Kevin De Bruyne is around 2.5 million coins, and Jorginho at 1.6 million is the most affordable despite being the highest-rated of the trio.
Unfancied
Jorginho boasts the highest set of in-game stats of any player in the game, 33 more than the next highest which is KDB's TOTY item.
Despite that, he is still the least valuable of the TOTY midfielders which begs the question, why?
Jorginho's TOTY card is already among the least popular players on Futbin, and it must be a case of the unpopularity of his selection as the card itself is awesome.
There is no discernible weakness to the card, and given the Anchor chemistry style it is insane!
