Each week, we take a look at the early performances from the weekend to see who's worthy of a spot in the FIFA 22 TOTW. With some underwhelming performances from some of the major clubs and players around the world and many not playing until Sunday afternoon, there was the chance for some young talent to make their mark.
Let's take a look at who's done enough to be deserving of a spot in Week 13's TOTW in FIFA Ultimate Team...
Dusan Vlahovic
At what point do we stop referring to Dusan Vlahovic as a wonderkid? With the season he is having, it's clear that he's come of age this season. He bagged two goals and an assist in Fiorentina's win over Salernitana taking his season tally to 15 goals and 3 assists in 17 league games.
Vlahovic has been no stranger to the FIFA 22 TOTW this year and it would be his second inclusion this year.
Jamal Musiala
18-year-old Jamal Musiala has well and truly announced himself onto the worlds stage this year with his regular appearances for Bayern Munich. While many of his appearances have seen him come off the bench, he earned the starting spot against Mainz on Saturday and returned that faith with a fantastic overall performance and a goal.
He may have chosen to represent Germany over England for his International career but there's no denying his talent and potential is unlimited.
Martin Odegaard
It's been an up and down season for both Arsenal and Martin Odegaard this season but the young Norweigan midfielder has hit fine form in his last three games and put in some starting performances.
He picked up a goal in a 3-0 win over Southampton making it 3 goals in his last 3 games. As Arsenal fight to gain some semblance of consistent form, they can at least take solace in a star player starting to live up to his billing. It would be his first TOTW appearance this season.
