FIFA 22 Featured Squad: JLINGZ esports player doesn't include the boss in team

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team has a new featured squad battle to challenge this week.

Lisa Manley - a professional FIFA player for Jessie Lingard's JLINGZ esports team - is the one assembling the side this week, and there is no time for sentimentality, with Lingard missing out on the starting XI.

Check out the team below, and if you think you can beat it, take it on in Squad Battles.

Squad Battles are the offline version of division rivals, with various weekly ranks and rewards.

CAN YOU SPOT HIM? - Jessie Lingard is in there somewhere

This weeks squad will be incredibly difficult to defeat, and although Jessie Lingard isn't starting, there is a place for him on the bench.

Defence

Gianluigi Donnarumma is the man in goal, with his highest-rated card in the game this Team of the Group Stage version.

All that could be about to change though, as he is hotly tipped to take the Team of the Year goalkeeper position in the upcoming promo.

At right-back is one to two PSG Ones to Watch inclusions, Achraf Hakimi.

Owners of the card are still waiting for him to increase further, with just the one in-form gained so far this season.

To make a strong PSG link, Marquinhos' Road to the Knockouts card makes it in as one of the centre-backs.

He is partnered by the phenomenal TOTGS Tiago Djalo, to make a frightening combination you will find it hard to break down.

At left-back is one of only two non-Ligue 1 players, Theo Hernandez, with his latest in-form card from Team of the Week 17.

Midfield

It's a flat four in midfield, and if you're making a Ligue 1 heavy side, who else are you putting on the right flank but Lionel Messi.

Again, this is another Ones to Watch card people were expecting to shoot up, but it's just been the one in-form for Messi too.

There are a couple of brilliant all-rounders running the middle of the park, with Winter Wildcards Houssem Aouar and Signature Signings Renato Sanches a pair that can do it all.

On the left flank is probably the best of the new Heroes cards, David Ginola.

With his pace and power, he can really take advantage of weaker full-backs.

Attack

There have been so many top cards included already, but we think the one that outshines them all is Headliners Kylian Mbappe.

He already has insane stats, and being a live card they are likely to improve throughout the season.

If it wasn't enough that you had to compete with Mbappe up top, then look out, because Icon Ronaldo is his strike partner.

We can't spot a real weakness in this side, so make sure you're using your top team to take it on!
