FIFA 22 Dutch Wonderkids: Gravenberch set to be a PHENOMENON

The Netherlands has always been a country that offers the promise of top, young talent.

Finding a wonderkid from the region can take your team to new heights in Career Mode.

So read on, to find out who the next crop of best Dutch wonderkids are on FIFA 22.

What makes a wonderkid?

For a real wonderkid, you have to be a teenager upon your starting save on FIFA 22 Career Mode, so that means Matthijs de Ligt misses out.

Ryan Gravenberch (OVR 78 - POT 90)

Age: 19

Position(s): CM

Value: £28 million (Release clause: £45 million)

Wage: £9,000 a week

Ryan Gravenberach has all the qualities need to be a top-class, box-to-box midfielder.

His stats are all green across movement and power, and he has 82 DRI.

His physicality makes him adept defensively, despite his attributes leaning towards a more forward-thinking player.

Devyne Rensch (OVR 73 - POT 85)

Age: 18

Position(s): RB

Value: £6 million (Release clause: £9.6 million)

Wage: £3,000 a week

A young player from Ajax always seems to have a promising career ahead of them.

Devyne Rensch is an all-round RB, similar in qualities to Alexander-Arnold, but without the pinpoint crossing.

All his movement attributes are around the 70 mark or higher, and that will improve rapidly in Career Mode.

Brian Brobbey (OVR 73 - POT 85)

Age: 19

Position(s): ST

Value: £6.5 million (Release clause: £12 million)

Wage: £27,000 a week

If you're all about physical stats then Brian Brobbey will be right up your street.

An absolute beast, with 92 Strength, 89 Jumping and 83 PAC, we're excited to see how far we can develop this man in our Career Mode.

His skill attributes need improving, but he has a great base to work from.

Mohamed Ihattaren (OVR 75 - POT 85)

Age: 19

Position(s): CAM, RM, CM

Value: £10 million

Wage: £28,000 a week

Undoubtedly skilled, Mohamed Ihattaren should be easier to control on FIFA than in real life.

Questions surrounding his attitude saw him axed from the PSV squad, with him since joining Piemonte Calcio - and being loaned out to fellow Serie A club Sampdoria.

Fode Fofana (OVR 64 - POT 84)

Age: 18

Position(s): ST

Value: £1.4 million (Release clause: £3.3 million)

Wage: £2,000 a week

Fode Fofana has been banging goals in at youth level.

Last season he managed 17 goals and six assists in 23 games.

Another physical presence, he will be a handful for defenders.

Jayden Braaf (OVR 64 - POT 84)

Age: 18

Position(s): LW, RW

Value: £1.4 million

Wage: £8,000 a week

A Manchester City player out on loan, Jayden Braaf is a nippy speedster in the making.

He got quite a few goals from the wing in the PL2 but will need to pop up with more assists to become a more rounded player.

Mohamed Taabouni (OVR 66 - POT 83)

Age: 19

Position(s): CAM, LW

Value: £1.9 million (Release clause: £4 million)

Wage: £2,000 a week

Mohamed Taabouni has been contributing with goal involvements for a few years now at youth level but has yet to make it in senior football.

He is very agile on the ball and we'd like to see his passing improve to really become a threatening CAM.

Rav van den Berg (OVR 59 - POT 83)

Age: 16

Position(s): CB

Value: £581,000 (Release clause: £1.4 million)

Wage: £430 a week

EA is predicting good things for Rav van den Berg, despite him not really playing much football.

With a rating of 59 OVR, it will take a lot of work on the training ground to get him to reach his potential.

Xavi Simons (OVR 66 - POT 83)

Age: 18

Position(s): CM

Value: £1.9 million (Release clause: £4.7 million)

Wage: £5,000 a week

Xavi Simons grew a big following on social media despite not playing senior level football.

He moved from the Barcelona youth academy to PSG and will continue his development with some real superstars around him.

Ian Maatsen (OVR 66 - POT 82)

Age: 19

Position(s): LWB, LB

Value: £1.8 million (Release clause: £4.6 million)

Wage: £3,000 a week

Helping the Netherlands to win the 2019 under-17 Euro's, scoring twice, and assisting from CM, Ian Maatsen has moved to left-back.

Now part of the Chelsea youth set-up, he is on loan at Coventry City where he has started all their league games.
