Latest - Muller wins Player of the Month

91 OVR Thomas Muller has arrived in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team as the latest Bundesliga Player of the Month.

While Muller may not be the quickest player in the world, his new card certainly looks more than capable of dominating in midfield.

POTM nominees

The official nominees for the January Bundesliga Player of the Month award were released on Wednesday, 9 February, and there were some big players included this month.

The following players were up for the award:

  • Robert Lewandowski
  • Erling Haaland
  • Thomas Muller
  • Moussa Diaby
  • Josko Gvardiol
  • Patrick Wimmer

We expected the majority of votes to lie with popular FUT players, Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland, but that has not been the case!

Robert Lewandowski

Four goals in three games for Robert Lewandowski in January will surely see him make the shortlist for Bundesliga Player of the Month.

The Polish striker’s hat-trick against Koln went unrewarded in FUT thanks to his appearance in the Team of the Year event, so we think a POTM card would be a fitting reward.

Erling Haaland

Lewandowski is not going to have it all his own way though as Golden Boot rival Erling Haaland has also been finding the net regularly in 2021.

Haaland has bagged three times this month helping Borussia Dortmund to claim maximum points from their three matches.
