We're hyped that FIFA 22 is finally here, getting on the game through Early Access.
There seems to be an abundance of top quality right-backs at the moment, but can the same be said about left-backs?
If you're looking for someone to protect your left flank and hopefully create some chances too, we've got you covered.
Here are the best left-backs on FIFA 22, utilise them on Ultimate Team, Career Mode, or however else you see fit.
Andrew Robertson (OVR 87)
It's safe to say that Liverpool have full-backs covered.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back on FIFA 22, with a rating of 87 OVR, and joining his partner in crime with the same rating is Andrew Robertson.
Injury has slowed him down at the start of this season, but expect to see him back at his consistent best in a few weeks, getting up and down the wing like nobody's business.
Jordi Alba (OVR 86)
Despite ageing and playing for a Barcelona side in trouble, Jordi Alba manages to keep hold of his high 86 OVR rating.
He managed 5 goals and 15 assists last term, showing he still has what it takes to perform at the highest level.
Lucas Digne (OVR 84)
Lucas Digne is a constant pick for Everton and retains his 84 OVR rating.
It would be good to see him get some more goal involvements to take his game to the next level, but his consistent performances already make him a top player.
Marcos Acuna (OVR 84)
Marcos Acuna received a beast of a card in FUT 21 thanks to the Festival of Football event giving him a Path to Glory upgrade.
His base stats were above 94 on everything, and although nowhere near that level with his basic card this year, you can again expect him to be a total all-rounder.
Luke Shaw (OVR 84)
People (e.g. Jose Mourinho) have criticised Luke Shaw a lot over the years, but last season he silenced his haters by performing brilliantly for Manchester United and then England.
He is now the nation's number one choice left-back has been both an attacking threat and solid in defence this year, proving worthy of his hefty improvements.
Raphael Guerreiro (OVR 84)
An under-appreciated player, Raphael Guerreiro holds on to an 84 rating on FIFA 22.
The Portuguese chalked up 11 assists and five goals in the Bundesliga, showing his influence on the team.
Theo Hernandez (OVR 84)
If you're looking for someone rapid at LB, Theo Hernandez is your guy.
90 Acceleration and 93 Sprint Speed, coupled with 89 Stamina, means he will constantly be up and down the line.
Hernandez isn't afraid in the opposition box either, with 13 league goals in his previous two seasons with AC Milan.
Leonardo Spinazzola (OVR 83)
Leonardo Spinazzola was a joy to watch during the Euros, and it was such a shame to see him injured.
He has seen his rating shoot up from 78 OVR to 83 OVR.
As well as a rating increase, he has seen his position changed to a LWB, and his 78 PAC increased to a whopping 92!
Lucas Hernandez (OVR 83)
There will be jibes aimed at Lucas in the Hernandez household this Christmas, with his brother Theo overtaking his FIFA rating.
We were interested to see whether he would be classed as a LB or CB on this game, but as most of his time last season was as a LB, EA have given him that position.
Due to that, he will probably see fewer players picking him in game modes this year.
Ferland Mendy (OVR 83)
Mendy is taking over well from a position that has been held by Marcelo for so many years now.
Always a handful, his pace makes him tricky to get past and lethal getting forward.
Expect to encounter this guy a lot on Ultimate Team.
