FIFA 22: Beginner's Guide to Ultimate Team - Splashing The Cash

FIFA 22 may be deep into its season, but that doesn't mean there aren't those that are dipping their toes in for the very first time.

In this series, accumulated over the coming weeks and months, we follow one team, No Clue FC - guided by the RealSport101 team - in their quest to dominate FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

This week, the squad has seen some MAJOR changes, with 100,000 coins spent in order to acquire an England hero.

No Stream, No Problem

The eagle-eyed No Clue FC fans will have noticed that there was no stream this Monday, due to circumstances out of No Clue FC's control.

Instead, off-stream duties became of paramount importance, with plenty of games played and a large chunk of the budget spent.

Let's start with the first new signing, End of Era Jermain Defoe, who joined the club thanks to an enormous amount of unused fodder.

The Premier League legend technically didn't cost No Clue FC a penny, with the brand new FIFA 22 SBC being completed simply with players that were already sitting in the club.

The 90 OVR poacher may have the negative of linking to League One, but he's still perfectly capable when playing up front with Ronaldinho and the club's record signing...

Spending BIG

The No Clue FC gaffer has long been a fan of Raheem Sterling, especially in FIFA 22.

The 89 OVR RW in-form card for the England hero had long been eyed up, but with a 91 OVR RW arriving in the most recent team of the week, the decision was made to save up further and dump the whole budget on Man City's tricky winger.

For 93,000 coins - pretty much all of No Clue FC's coin total - Raheem Sterling joined the club, creating a front three of Prime Icon Ronaldinho, IF Raheem Sterling and either showdown Yarmolenko, or End of an Era Defoe, not bad if you ask me.

Since the dream trio has formed, No Clue FC has not looked back, reaching the giddy heights of Rivals division 2 and eyeing up the very top of the Ultimate Team landscape.

State of Play

With significant changes being made to the squad, No Clue FC looks to be in a very promising position indeed.

After only 6 weeks of play, the squad has gone from FIFA 22 bronze minnows - apologies McDaid - to fully-fledged contenders.

NEW LOOK - No Clue FC is starting to take shape

Of course, the arrival of stars like Ronaldinho in a Prime Icon pack certainly helps proceedings, but there's no doubting that No Clue FC is a force to be reckoned with in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Eyeing up the Big One

No Clue FC has been scratching and clawing its way towards supremacy, with the very top of Ultimate Team now in their sights.

The weekend league - or FUT Champs - is a dangerous place, so No Clue FC has been warned.
