The FIFA 20 Demo is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC via Origin, despite the game appearing online before any official announcement.
The media were told yesterday that the demo would be released on September 10th, two days earlier than anticipated, with the trial finding its way onto the PlayStation Store & Xbox Store at around 3pm BST.
You may struggle to download it however, with the demand creating troubles online. Expect an official announcement at 5pm or 6pm once things have settled down.
What modes are available?
A Champions League group-stage kick off is there for you to play, as well as an intro into the new street mode - Volta Football.
Volta teaser
Just one game of Volta is available on the demo (although you can play it over and over), featuring FIFA 20 ambassador Vinicius Junior.
The premise looks to be a tease from Volta Story - Real Madrid's Vinicius is facing off against Ajax in the Champions League, and that evening (or following night) he takes to the streets.

Play as him and two others, taking on the Amsterdam locals in a street underpass - first to four goals wins.
What teams can you play as?
In the Champions League kick-off, you can play as Premier League clubs Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, as well as Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
The squads are almost up to date, with Chelsea still featuring the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Davide Zappacosta and Kenedy, who all left late on in the summer transfer window.

Why no announcement?
It does seem strange for EA not to announce anything formally, with reports circulating on the September 9th that the demo was coming.
Perhaps the Demo release was brought forward from its previously leaked date of September 12th, because of the increasing competition with PES 2020.
The full version of PES 2020 released on September 10th, with Konami's demo having been available since the end of July.
PES have been winning the licensing battle this year, and FIFA are now looking to take any publicity of their biggest rivals in the football game business.
