- Primary Subject: Review and value evaluation of the Season 2: Heritage Premium Pass in EA Sports FC 27.
- Key Update: Concludes that Season 2's Premium Pass is generally a skip unless you have surplus coins or FC Points and can progress quickly.
- Status: Live.
- Last Verified: October 23, 2026.
- Quick Answer: Skip the pass unless you are hunting for tradeable pack fodder, cosmetics, or exclusive FC Heritage player items like Marcus Rashford and Ferland Mendy, as the overall attribute bumps remain underwhelming relative to the cost.
Season 2 of FC 27 is live, and the theme this time is nostalgia. You'll find cards of players that have left their mark in Ultimate Team across the 30 levels of the paid and premium tracks.
A slower power curve means many of the seasonal reward cards are not as appealing as they used to be. Evolution has also been underwhelming. Despite all that, the first season did offer enough value for us to give it a positive review.
Here's our verdict on Season 2: Heritage of FC 27.
Is the FC 27 Season 2 Premium Pass worth it?
No, we do not think Season 2 of FC 27 is worth either coins or FC Points.
The power curve has been slow, so these passes won't have players that are ahead of the meta. There is also no standout player, like the Maxence Lacroix card at level 7 in Season 1.
Marcus Rashford's FC Heritage card is a perfect example. His new card gets just +1 in pace, shooting, and dribbling alongside the base Low Driven Shot from his Gold. Of course, it is a better card, but not +4 OVR better.
Evolutions continue to remain strong, but they aren't anything unmissable. Packs are a pure gamble, so we can't really take their value into account.
That said, buying the pass is still relatively the best way to spend coins and FC Points. In general, you'll get more value from any season than from opening random packs from the store.
We suggest skipping it unless you have a large amount of coins or FC Points lying around and you believe you can complete the season track quickly.
