The Ones to Watch cards are good, even though the live upgrades don't sound that tantalizing. The Maxence Lacroix card at level 7 is the highlight.
He is arguably the best defender you can get early in the game, and he'll likely remain on your team for a very long time. More so when you consider that the power curve is now said to be slower.
Plenty of packs and Evolution items are excellent. It is hard to make coins in the first few months, and tradable packs can offer a decent chance at making something big.
Earning 500,000 coins before the season expires will be tough, however. If you're active, play every day, and do trading, then it is achievable.
We generally do not suggest spending additional money on the game you already paid for. Despite the reward being excellent, it is still early days and the first-ever season. So, try to avoid buying FC Points if you don't have any leftovers.
