Destined for Glory and Ones to Watch are the two special items for the first few weeks of FC 27. Both are live items and are eligible for upgrades.
While most Destined for Glory cards will be behind packs, as it's a campaign, Ones to Watch is the theme for Season 1. This means you can earn most of it through the reward track and Objectives.

FC 27 Ones to Watch Upgrades Explained
Every Ones to Watch card is eligible for the following upgrades in FC 27:
- +1 OVR for each Team of the Week, Star Performer or Player of the Month.
- +1 OVR if their club wins three of its next six domestic league matches after 18 September
There is no cap for possible upgrades.
To keep in touch with the slower power curve, all OTW items rated 83 and above have their base Gold stats instead. The only improvements high-rated cards will receive are 60 pace if their base was lower and Roles++ for their position.
