FC 26 Squad Battles: How To Get Max Points and Rank Higher

FC 26 Squad Battles Elite 1

FC 26 Squad Battles Elite 1

While Squad Battles in FC 26 doesn't quite have as juiced rewards as other competitive modes like Champions, it is much easier and less stressful to play. But you can't reach higher ranks by simply winning on tougher difficulties. You have to do a couple of other things along the way.

Here's how to get the maximum points in each Squad Battles match, enough to secure you an Elite 1 rank in FC 26.

The number of points you fetch in every Squad Battles match is based on the difficulty and your in-match performance. This has been true for titles before FC 26 as well. To maximize your rating, make sure to check off these performance goals:

  • Win the game
  • Score 5 goals
  • Keep a clean sheet
  • Have 60% or more in possession
  • Get 10 corners and have 10 shots on target
  • No fouls, cards, or offsides

Even in lower difficulty, you have to keep those pointers in check to get the maximum possible points for that difficulty. Yes, it is indeed tough to achieve them all the time. You don't absolutely need to do it for all matches you play to secure Elite 1, but try to keep them in check as much as you can.

Once you have completed one objective, focus on another. Like, if you already have scored 5 goals, try to keep possession and maintain a clean sheet instead of scoring the 6th.

Anything beyond what we have mentioned won't give you extra points. Whether you score 5 or 10 goals, your points from goals are capped at 5. Winning the game, scoring 5 goals, and a clean sheet are the most important ones, so try to at least get them in every game.

Now that you have the checklist, the next major part is difficulty. The difficulty you should pick depends on your current squad, skill level, and the rank you're aiming for. World Class is the minimum difficulty you should play if you want to secure high ranks. It won't be enough for Elite 1, however, and you'll need to play a couple of matches on Legendary.

Ideally, play any squads that are rated lower, both in terms of rating and chemistry, on Legendary. You should have 1 or 2 of these in each refresh. Play the rest of them on World Class, and if you've ticked the checklist we listed above, you should have enough points for Elite 1.

Keep in mind that winning in World Class, or even Professional, while completing the checklist, will reward you with higher points than simply winning on Legendary without completing any. So, if you're fine with Elite 2 or Elite 3, you can play on World Class or lower and try to get those pointers instead of forcing Legendary.

Featured squads can be replayed again, so try them on Legendary until you win. For featured games, your in-match performance does not matter, as you get all the points for simply winning.

That's about everything you need to know about scoring maximum points in FC 26 Squad Battles. As with every other mode, you need a meta squad and good tactics to win the matches comfortably.
