Live Start Points have finally been updated in FC 25 Career Mode, allowing players to create a new save from as recently as January 7.
It comes after Career Mode fans became increasingly frustrated about the lack of updates for the newly introduced feature, with the previous Live Start Point dating back to December 10.
Career Mode Live Start Points Updated
FC 25 Career Mode fans will be relieved to know that the Live Start Points feature has finally been updated. Before the update went live, players could only start a new save from December 10 or prior, causing anger and disappointment among the Career Mode community.
However, EA has since put an end to that frustration by deploying a new update for Live Start Points, which reflects the latest real-life fixtures and lets players begin their Career Mode journey from a recent gameweek of their choice.
The latest Live Start Points are as follows:
- Premier League and EFL Championship - January 7, 2025
- Barclays WSL - December 16, 2024
- Ligue 1 McDonald's - January 6, 2025
- Arkema PL - December 15, 2024
- Bundesliga - December 23, 2024
- Frauen-Bundesliga - December 17, 2024
- Serie A - January 6, 2025
- LALIGA - January 4, 2025
- Liga F - January 6, 2025
Live Start Points were introduced to FC 25 Career Mode post-launch, giving players the option to begin a new save mid-season rather than starting at the very beginning of the current campaign.
For example, players can step into the shoes of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and look to keep the Premier League title race alive. Alternatively, players can also control stars from any of the leagues listed above as they aim to become a club legend or cut ties by moving elsewhere in the transfer window.
Despite the occurrence of bugs and stability issues which continue to be addressed by EA, the feature has so far proven popular among Career Mode fans. Players enjoy the increased freedom and realistic element when starting a new save, and the latest update will no doubt see more try it out moving forward.
