Although TOTY continues to dominate Ultimate Team, FC 25 players will no doubt be keeping one eye on the January transfer window as talented youngsters such as Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis move clubs.
The defensive duo have joined current Premier League champions Manchester City for a reported combined fee of £63.2m ($77.3m, €74.7m), and with both stars possessing huge potential, Career Mode fans are wondering whether or not they feature in FC 25.
Are Khusanov and Reis in FC 25?
Yes and no. While Abdukodir Khusanov is playable in FC 25, his new teammate, Vitor Reis, is not available at the time of writing.
Khusanov has joined City from Ligue 1 side RC Lens, who are fully licensed in FC 25. However, Reis is coming from Palmeiras, who along with the Brazil national team and its domestic league, are not available in FC 25 due to intellectual property rights and licensing agreements.
The good news is that Reis will eventually be added to the game via a future Squad Update, and with the help of Cranium, he will likely feature a decent face scan, too. Viewed as one of the most promising young defenders in the world at the age of 19, we expect EA to give Reis a very high potential rating in FC 25, putting him amongst some of the best prospects in the game.
Meanwhile, Khusanov already has an authentic face scan in FC 25 along with a solid rating of 76 and a potential of 84. Recent performances have seen his OVR increase by +4 since the game launched, and at 20 years old, those figures will probably grow even further as the Uzbekistan international makes his mark in the English top flight over the coming months.
As Manchester City look to reap the benefits of their unquestionable talent in real life, Khusanov and Reis will undoubtedly become two popular picks for Manager Career Mode players looking to bolster their backline in the years to come.
