eFootball 2023 - the new free-to-play game from Konami - has plenty to offer but is still a working progress and receives regular gameplay and feature updates.

Back in April 2023, Konami introduced a brand new feature called "Legacy Transfer" as part of the v.2.5.0 eFootball 2023 Spring update.

This new feature allows users to transfer Experience Points and Additional Skills from one player to another.

But, what actually is a Legacy Transfer and how does it work in eFootball 2023? Find out below.

What is Legacy Transfer in eFootball 2023?

The new feature called "Legacy Transfer" allows users to transfer their Experience Points and Additional Skills from one player to another.

In order to carry out a Legacy Transfer, users will need to select a player to transfer their points from and another player to inherit those points.

This process requires GP, the amount of which is based on the player transferring their points.

The more well-developed the player, the more GP it requires to have his expertise transferred.

The player used for the transfer will be erased after the transfer and Excess EXP Points will not be transferred over once the inheriting player's EXP Points have been maximized.

Two former partners of Konami return in eFootball 2023, with AC Milan and Inter Milan, the current holders of Italy’s top domestic league competition and cup competition respectively.

This sees the introduction to the clubs’ players, official kits, badges and the stadium that they share, the San Siro.

In an exclusive agreement, Liga BBVA MX has been implemented in the new game, bringing all 18 Mexican clubs to eFootball 2023.

Two new eFootball Player Ambassadors have also joined the roster, with Liverpool sensation Trent Alexander-Arnold and Manchester United midfield maestro Bruno Fernandes signing on.

Following the large-scale maintenance update back in November, the majority of "Standard" players signed in eFootball 2022 now have their affiliations and photos updated.

In addition, players that were no longer available were replaced with in-game items of equivalent value.
