Another gameweek is in the books and we had plenty of fantastic performances from all around the world. Mohamed Salah continued his astonishing run of form, Lautaro Martinez is back to scoring, and Marco Asensio showcased how much of a difference-maker he can be.
There is no shortage of world-class players or rising stars eligible for TOTW 25, which means this can be a tremendous TOTW squad. It all comes down to whether EA FC wants to deliver it or save the superstar players for an upcoming promo.
EA FC 25 TOTW 24 Predictions
EA FC 25 TOTW 24 has the chance to be one of the best TOTW squads in 2025. I have said this about the previous three TOTW squads, but unfortunately, they have all disappointed, mainly because EA FC continues to be reluctant to add world-class players to it.

Mohamed Salah could have been in all the past four or five TOTW squads, as the 'Egyptian King' is having a fabulous season. However, the last time the Liverpool superstar was on the promo squad was in TOTW 9, which was released in November of 2024.
So, while many great players meet all the criteria to be selected for TOTW 24, it's likely some of them won't be selected, demoting TOTW 24 from a spectacular to a solid squad.
But, there is always a chance EA FC decides to give fans what they have been begging for a long time and deliver a great TOTW squad. For that to happen, the following players need to be a part of it:
Mohamed Salah - Liverpool
Another big game, another big performance by one of the best players in the world, and one of the favourites for the 2025 Ballon d'Or. Salah scored and assisted in Liverpool's crucial 2-0 win versus Manchester City at the Etihad.
We are starting to lack adjectives to describe the Egyptian 2025 season, which has been the best of his career so far. It's also hard to explain why Salah hasn't made a TOTW squad in so long. Hopefully, TOTW 24 will put an end to that injustice.
Serhou Guirassy - Borussia Dortmund
Describing Serhou Guirassy's performance versus Union Berlin as amazing would be an understatement. The Dortmund striker scored four goals in the 6-0 win, which kept Dortmund's top-four dreams alive.
If four goals don't get you into TOTW I don't know what does. But then again, we have seen Dembele and Chris Wood score a hat-trick and be left out, so it wouldn't be something new.
Achraf Hakimi - PSG
In an absolute thriller against Olympique Lyonnais, Hakimi scored a brace that was crucial for the Ligue 1 champions to secure the 3-2 win and take three points to the capital.
Hakimi had a great performance against a very tough opponent and away from home. So, when we consider all of that, it's only natural that the PSG star not only makes TOTW 24 but is also among the highest-rated cards.
Marco Asensio - Aston Villa
Marco Asensio's first full game for Aston Villa couldn't have gone better. The Spanish helped the Lions comeback from a 1-0 deficit against Chelsea, scoring the winning goal in the 89 minute.
This was a massive win for Aston Villa, as it was their first Premier League win in five games and came against a huge rival in the top 4 race. The Spaniard needs to be in TOTW 24.
Julian Alvarez - Atletico Madrid
Last but certainly not least, we have Julian Alvarez, who scored two important goals in Atletico Madrid's 3-0 win versus Valencia. Alvarez opened the score at 12 minutes and gave Diego Simeone's squad a comfortable 2-0 lead at the 36 minute.
This win keeps the Colchoneros in the title race, sitting in third place with one less point than Real Madrid and Barcelona. With this great performance, we expected to see Julian Alvarez have one of the best cards in TOTW 24.
