E3 2021 Predictions For Every Major Showcase

E3 2021 is doing things a little differently this time around. E3 has traditionally been synonymous with big, bombastic convention centres, and announcements that fuel hype for an entire industry, but it's different this time around.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, E3 2021 is a digital-only event, as it was in 2020. This means the presentations are being made via livestream, with each of the major publishers putting on their own show.

Latest - E3 2021 Predictions

Predicting what announcement might be made is a tradition almost as old as the show itself. Here are some of the reveals we are hoping to see at this years E3!

Koch Primetime Gaming Stream

Streaming via Twitch, the Koch Primetime Gaming Stream could see some interesting reveals.

Koch is the parent company of both Deep Silver and THQ Nordic, although it has been suggested that THQ Nordic will not be showing at this event.

The rumour mill has been churning about this one. Could we see a new Timesplitters game? How about the re-reveal of Dead Island 2?

We won't have to wait too long to find out.

You can watch the Kock Primetime Gaming Stream here at 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET on June 11.

Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft's UbiForward E3 presentations in years past have been massive if somewhat a little predictable.

They may not be the most surprising publisher around, but they reliably make solid games, year in, year out.

We recently got a sneak peek at Rainbow Six: Quarantine Extraction, so it would make sense to see more of that game.

Far Cry 6 has been in the news recently, getting its own reveal event. Still, it is one of the biggest games of the year, and getting to see more of it would be nice.

Then there is the Division. We know that Division 2 is getting more DLC, and Division Heartland, a standalone game in the franchise, is coming from developer Redstorm Entertainment. Maybe we will see it in action?

You can watch the Ubisoft Forward presentation here at 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET on June 12

Gearbox Showcase

We just got the news that a Borderlands spin-off title, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, is in the works, announced during yesterdays Summer Games Fest.

But that doesn't mean we won't see more from the Borderlands universe! More DLC for Borderlands 3, or perhaps a peek at the upcoming movie?

We might even see an update on Tribes of Midgard (a possible Valheim competitor) or news of Homeworld 3.

You can watch the Gearbox Showcase here at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET on June 12.

E3 Xbox Bethesda

Xbox & Bethesda Showcase

This is the big one. With two such massive and beloved publishers, Xbox and Bethesda, coming together under one roof, we are sure to get some game-changing reveals.

Halo Infinite is a no brainer, and we are sure to see the latest entry in the venerable franchise. An extended gameplay trailer would not go astray.

From the Bethesda side of the family, is it time that we finally get to see Starfield in action? It is about time, and it would be a massive flex for the Xbox platform.

We might see more from Senua's Sacrifice 2 as well, as that title has been rather quiet since its reveal last year.

You can watch the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase here at 10 am PT / 1 am ET on June 13.

E3 Square Enix Presents

Square Enix Presents

Square Enix always brings the heat, so expect some big reveals.

We wouldn't be surprised to see Final Fantasy 16 in action since its reveals, things have been fairly quiet on that front.

There was also a tease for something new from Eidos-Montreal, could it be Tomb Raider related, or perhaps the rumoured Guardians of the Galaxy game?

You can watch Square Enix Presents here at 12:15 pm PT / 3:15 pm ET on June 13.

Take-Two Interactive Showcase

The parent company of both Rockstar Games and 2K Games, Take-Two has an impressive stable of games and is due to show their latest in action.

We should hear more about the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V, as they are due out later this year.

And then of course there is Bioshock 4, which we know to be in development. Is it time to see what that team has been up to?

For strategy fans, is there the chance we might see something new from the XCOM universe?

You can watch the Take-Two Interactive Showcase here at 10:15 am PT / 1:15 pm ET on June 14.

Capcom Live Showcase

Capcom doesn't often host their own showcase, so it's safe to assume that the publisher has something to show.

We know that Capcom is four games they want to talk about: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Stories 2, and Resident Evil Village.

A DLC showing for Monster Hunter Rise and Resident Evil Village is a possibility, but maybe Capcom has a few other surprises up its sleeve?

You can watch the Capcom Live Showcase here at 2:30 pm PT / 5:30 pm ET on June 14

Nintendo Direct & Treehouse

E3 Nintendo Direct Treehouse

As one of The Big Three, it would be safe to assume that Nintendo has some juicy news to share with its legions of dedicated fans.

There will be a 40-minute Direct presentation and a three hour Nintendo Treehouse livestream, that's plenty of time for some big reveals!

Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 are overdue for updates, but perhaps we could get some new IP reveals as well?

You can Nintendo's Direct and Treehouse livestream here at 9 am PT / 12 pm ET on June 15.

Bandai Namco Showcase

E3 Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco just had an exciting reveal of Elden Ring during the Summer Games Fest, but it's possible we could see more of that game.

It would make sense to show more of Scarlet Nexus too, as that game is set to release on the 25 June.

Tales of Arise, too, is set to release later this year. It's going to be huge, so hopefully, we might get an extended look at gameplay.

You can watch the Bandai Namco Showcase here at 2:25 pm PT / 5:25 pm ET on June 15.

EA Play Live

E3 2021 predictions

EA Play Live is being held more than a month after the rest of the other E3 participants, but it makes sense to include it on this list.

Chances are it will likely show more of the recently revealed Battlefield 6, but who knows what other titles we are likely to see?

We will update this page as and when we get a clearer picture closer to the date.

We don't have an official time for EA Play Live just yet, but we know it will be held on July 22.
