Borderlands 3 just got added to PS Now and there's a brand-new Free Trial available for people that don't have it! Although this won't include the Director's Cut DLC, it's the perfect time to give Borderlands 3 a go if you haven't tried it already.

In addition to this, Borderlands 3 is going to be free to play with Stadia Pro on Google Stadia from April 8th until April 12th. If you're not a Stadia Pro member yet, you can actually sign up and get a one-month free trial right now!
Borderlands 3 isn't on Game Pass just yet, but with the current trend, we could be seeing it added sooner than you think. It looks like Gearbox is pushing to give Borderlands 3 a new lease of life.
Release Date
Following a short delay, Borderlands 3 Director's Cut is almost out!
Originally slated for a March 11th launch, it was pushed back by Gearbox until April 8th.
This decision was made in an effort to ensure Borderlands 3 is in its' best position going into the next expansion. An Amara Melee Damage exploit and R.Y.N.A.H. Loot glitch were both resolved in a hotfix last month ahead of launch.
New Raid Boss
There's a new Raid Boss coming to Borderlands 3 in the release of the Director's Cut and it promises to be one of the toughest ones yet.

Hermovorous The Invincible is a giant Varkid that reportedly drops some of the best loot in the game.
" Hemovorous has made her lair behind a previously sealed door on Pandora, and Director’s Cut is your chance to go toe-to-pincer with this monstrous enemy. If you’ve completed the main story campaign and own Director’s Cut, you’ve earned the right to take on Hemovorous."
You'll need to pay 500 Eridium to open the door to her lair, but it will be well worth the fight and even more worth the rewards you'll get if you can beat her.
Story Mission Updates
Ava's serialised Murder Mysteries are coming to Borderlands 3 in the Director's Cut DLC release and they offer up a series of new story missions on all the major Borderlands 3 planets.
" The making of Ava’s Mysteriouslier podcast isn’t all running and gunning (though you can expect plenty of gore-soaked firefights along the way). To help solve this string of seemingly paranormal happenings, you’ll sometimes need to stop and take stock of a crime scene and deduce your next steps based on environmental clues."
It seems like these will tie into the larger Borderlands 3 story and should be available to play whatever your level.
Vault Cards
Vault Cards are a brand-new Challenge-based progression system that's coming to Borderlands 3 in the Director's Cut DLC Expansion.
By completing these, you'll be able to unlock a load of themed cosmetics and some "supremely powerful" gear that scales to your level as you continue to progress!
" The first of the three Vault Cards will launch as part of Director’s Cut, featuring items that honour some of the franchise’s most beloved fallen heroes; the remaining two Vault Cards are scheduled to launch by the end of 2021. Vault Card content can be activated at any time once released, and when multiple Vault Cards are available you’ll have the option to select which one you want to activate."
Each Vault Card will have three Daily Challenges and one multi-tiered Weekly Challenge that will help you progress these Vault Cards.
