World of Warcraft's latest expansion, Dragonflight, has players travel to the Dragon Isles, and their main form of transportation is the newly added Dragonriding System.
For a dragon-themed expansion, players get to travel on their very own dragons. Players can traverse the lands and zones of the Dragon Isles, as they twirl around and speed through the vast landscapes. To a certain extent, in the new expansion, Dragonriding has become a key part of every player, as they can heavily customize their own drakes.
Players can represent all of the four major dragonflights, from the red, green, and bronze to the blue, the dragonflights are well shown. This includes the black dragonflight, as with the Black Scales Highland Drake, players can have the often forgotten flight flap its wings.

How to get the Black Scales Highland Drake Customization in WoW Dragonflight
Like other dragon customizations, the Black Scales Highland Drake customization is locked behind a bit of extra work.
In order to attain the Black Scales Highland Drake customization, players will have to earn the "True Friend" reputation status with either Wrathion or Sabellian.
After going through the Dragon Isles, players will ultimately have to choose between Wrathion or Sabellian to be the next Aspect of the Black Dragons. Each week players get a World Quest which allows them to pledge their allegiance to either of them and following that, they can grind reputation in order to eventually reach the "True Friend" reputation status.
Once a player has chosen their allegiance, they can grind reputation by completing quests for the corresponding party or by turning in Obsidian Keys.
Grinding for Obsidian Keys is fairly easy, players can just look for groups in the in-game party finder system and search for the terms “Key 2×4” or “Obsidian Key Farm." Doing so will allow you to farm for Obsidian Key Fragments much more quicker. Obsidian Key Fragments can be converted into Obsidian Keys which in turn can be turned in for reputation to get the Black Scales Highland Drake customization.
The Black Scales Highland Drake customization costs 400 Dragon Isles Supplies and one Awakened Earth and can be purchased from Lorena Belle for Wrathion or Samia Inkling for Sabellian.
