Nike Basketball's Instagram page officially revealed Giannis Antetokounpmo’s next signature sneakers, the Zoom Freak 4s, ahead of their release.

Their reveal coincided with the premiere of Rise on Disney+, which tells the story of how the Antetokounpmo's became the first trio of brothers to win NBA championships in the history of the league.

From what we saw from the Freak 3s, the 4s already look to be strong contenders to be considered some of the best basketball shoes around.

With that in mind, here's everything we know about the Nike Zoom Freak 4s so far...

Nike Zoom Freak 4 Release Date

While Nike mostly kept the release of the Zoom Freak 4 under wraps, the brand has since confirmed that Giannis Antetokounpmo’s next signature sneakers are out now.

The shoes have launched in four colourways thus far, including the original "Dark Marina Blue" design revealed in the hands of Giannis during the initial announcement.

Nike Zoom Freak 4 Design

As mentioned, three colourways have been revealed in total, the first via Nike Basketball's Instagram post of Antetokounpmo holding a light green, pink, and dark blue design.

It appears the sneakers mark the return of the enlarged, reverse Swoosh from the Zoom Freak 1s; however, the Swooshes seem like they'll be placed on the quarter panels this time around.

The second colourway is a red and black iteration featuring animal print details in the reverse Swooshes, followed by a purple and black design featuring a similar pattern.

Finally, Nike has revealed a white and light green design which could end up being the one we see Giannis wear on the court given they're dressed in Milwaukee Bucks colours.

Technology-wise, the shoes feature two Zoom Air units in the forefoot areas. This should allow the shoes to compress under weight, and then expand to deliver a greater energy return.

They're also slightly tilted to improve forward motion and, in turn, help you attack the rim.

Nike Zoom Freak 4 Price

The Zoom Freak 4s are currently listed for $130 in adult sizes ranging from 3.5 to 18 US.

There doesn't appear to be any kids sizes available just yet, so stay tuned for more information right here.

Where To Buy The Nike Zoom Freak 4
